I was fortunate to get wonderful care at SMILOW Cancer in Guilford CT and got thru chemo & radiation and just passed my 5 yr checkup with flying colors. We have since then had a new appointment at shores pediatrics in Miami shores which was a completely different experience more respectful and they informed me my son is perfectly healthy and that you guys at Miami Beach pediatrics made bad suggestions which explains why you guys have a 3.5 rating and shores pediatrics has a 4.6 I wouldn't suggest anyone who loves there children or wife to come here for any reason!!!!! She is kind, knowledgeable, good listener and very empathic. She provides an over the top service with care. Doctor Gadea has helped me to improve my overall health finding ways and alternatives to improve my wellbeing. Her office is located on 4308 Alton Road on the 2nd floor at the Miami Beach Mount Sinai Medical Center. The waiting area is very welcoming and the views from her patient/rooms are beautiful. I went to have blood drawn 2 days ago and she screwed up putting the needle in my vein so bad I am still in pain and arm is still swollen and badly bruised. This is the second time out of 4 blood draws over the past two years that this happened when she drew blood. Once putting the needle in and one pulling the needle out. Never had this happen to me before anywhere else. And my veins are large and very easy to place a needle in. Sorry to say but this employee should not be working in this job. I flew into town to help with her care and brought her for an appointment with Dr. Braun about a week after she had been released from the hospital. I found Dr. Braun to be extremely arrogant and told my family and me, "Look! She's fine!" before actually examining her (because she could walk). He paid no attention to her, ignoring her very obvious cognitive deficits, and appeared to be preoccupied the entire appointment. We had to call back multiple times to request a urine test for a possible UTI which we had requested in person at the appointment. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the nurse who brought us to the room before he came in was very nice. I would not trust Dr. Braun with my health, let alone the health of my loved ones.
