All of the attendees--close relatives, godmothers, cousins, the maid of honor, and myself--flew or drove in from out of state specifically for this appointment. We arrived 10 minutes early and waited until 30 minutes past the appointment time, but no one showed up. There was no way to contact them, and we received no communication from them. We even tried reaching out through social media and contacted the owner, Robin Dutruch, but still haven't heard anything back. This is an absolute disgrace and a terrible way to run a business. Their policy states that no-shows lose their deposit, but what happens when they're the ones who no-show? Fortunately, by the grace of God, I was able to contact the owner of Ashley Renee Bridal in Livingston, LA, last minute on a Sunday. They were incredibly compassionate about our situation and opened their shop to accommodate our party. I highly recommend avoiding Bliss Bridal; they clearly don't value their customers and don't deserve your business. UPDATE: the owner Robin called me back at 430 pm same day, and said she 'oops she forgot , she is not used to taking Sunday appts '. What??? No remorse nothing! Luckily we had just said yes to a dress at Ashley Renee's! Do not waste your time at Bliss Boutique & Bridal!!!
