Getting test results often required repeated follow-ups, and appointment wait times were frequently excessive. My most recent visit was unacceptable. I came in for a follow-up after a serious hospital stay and was turned away because the office claimed they hadn't received a fax, despite it being sent the prior week. No real effort was made to locate it, and I was even refused when I offered to email the records myself. Dr. Dyer never spoke to me directly and instead made dismissive, disrespectful comments to staff within earshot. Given the length of time I was a patient and the circumstances, this was deeply unprofessional. I will not be returning and do not recommend this practice.

Then it all goes down hill from there. She did absolutely nothing for me with the exception of prescribing me several different medications. She gave me an endoscopy told me that there was a flap inside of my stomach that is supposed to keep the acid out, but mine is not working properly. She never gave me a resolution. I've been calling her office for months, leaving messages. No return phone calls whatsoever. Then she refused to fill my medication again, even though in her own very words, this was the only medication that was left on the market, with the exception of Famotidine. She only works two days out the week Monday and Wednesday and I called leaving several message, begging and pleading for someone to call me back. Never received a return phone call for months. A horrific horrible experience. She did absolutely nothing to help me. If I could give her zero stars, I would. She should be ashamed.

Please bear with me as I explain the history leading up to our interaction w/Dr Park. As 2022…read morecomes to a close we have so many things to be grateful for. 2022 was a very tough year for my wife and I in so many ways. She had many health issues that required hospitalization on 3 or 4 occasions. The main cause was diverticulitis & UTI's that kept reoccurring & causing severe infection & pain. It became apparent that the diverticulitis wasn't going to just go away. As is the case during her last hospitalization there were so many interns, residents, doctors & specialists that came to see my wife in the process of determining the issues & what the best course of action would be. It's very frustrating having everyone & everything coming into her room. All the specialists urologists, radiologists, infection control doctors & colon surgeons (Dr Park). Dr Park is a very knowledgeable, likable & personable doctor that took the time to explain what needed to be done to prevent the continuing bouts w/diverticulitis. He said surgery should be done to prevent these reoccurring bouts. He performed the surgery back in November of 2022 & as of this date April 12 2023 there haven't been any reoccurring bouts with my wife's diverticulitis. Thank you Dr Park for a great job. We are both very grateful that things have returned to normal.

I expect front desk receptionist to be understanding and friendly and they were not. I waited an hour for my visit and expressed my urgency for another appointment I had and they still wanted to charge me a $25 late fee. I understand patients take longer and may need more time, I was willing to reschedule. Doctors were nice.

I have to take the time to write a review about Dr.Atallah who is treating my son's Ulcerative…read moreColitis. First, we are more than disappointed in the diagnosis but Dr.Atallah who is supposed to be the treatment expert has let him down. During a virtual visit my son told him how the current medicine was not working, he advised him to continue to take it and check in later. At an in-office appointment, he brings out a flyer with medications on it and tells my son"Take your pick"! Really? this is a 24-year-old who is having a ton of anxiety due to the pain and impact the UC has had on his day-to-day functioning yet the "professional expert" asked him to pick a medication. So, we landed on a medication and it was denied by the insurance. It seems that the doctor knew this would happen because he said we may have to make a request and then send medical notes. So why did he not suggest the medication 3 weeks ago when he knew that it would take time to get approvals and that my son's health was continuing to decline? When the insurance denied the initial medication suggestion Dr. Atallah did not call my son to share what new medication would be prescribed nor to provide some reassurance about using it to treat my son's condition. My son has had this diagnosis for one year and Dr.Atallah has not been empathetic and has not provided any medical guidance which seems helpful. At one point he told my son to go to the hospital if he is going to the bathroom often. Why would a doctor want to see their patient sick to the point of being admitted to the hospital? I know our medical system is broken but doctors like Dr.Atallah make it worse. We are in the process of changing GI's. Please do yourself a favor and do your research about the doctor you meet with and listen for red flags. After joining my son in his last two appointments it is evident that Dr.Attallah's office is not putting patients ' -well-being first.
