She is in general not very sympathetic to parents concerns at newborn stage. She's also not in office some days of the week so it takes time for her to repond to messages. We met some other pediatricians when she was not in office, and all of them showed more understanding. We had trouble getting prescription refill too. She insisted us to book an appointment to follow up with her before getting the refill, which took some time and the pharmacy did not have it in stock. Would not recommend for infants/newborns.

Dr. Fishman is easy to talk to, puts my son at ease. He had his first big boy appointment which was a bit uncomfortable. Having to put on a gown for the first time, I thought it was hilarious but she made it light and easy. He did fine. Until they had to have a nurse come in and bear hug him to get a shot! The nurse was kind and patient and made it as good as it could have gotten considering the circumstances. Love this group.

We were never informed of this. We ended up seeing a different physician after a lot of hassle over insurance at the front desk (even though I called in advance to advise them that our insurance company had changed and presented an insurance card with Dr. Fishman's name on it, they presented us with a stack of paperwork listing the old insurance - which took more than 40 minutes to sort out!?!). We ended up seeing the resident (I think her name was Dr. Samadi) and Dr. Tolba. Neither physician made any real effort to interact with our son (age 6). Instead, they addressed all of their questions to me as if my son weren't even in the room. We requested a prescription to have during a planned overseas trip, and ended up with one that would expire well before we planned to leave (even though I told them the days of the trip in advance). This created a lot of extra hassle at the pharmacy downstairs, especially after we were unable to reach Dr. Tolba to fix the problem and/or re-write the prescription to include "do not mix" instructions. Overall, the appointment took way too long. We arrived at 3:00 for a 3:30 appointment and didn't get out of there until after 5:00 (6:00 if you count time spent at the pharmacy trying to fix the flawed prescription). The experience was such that I changed our pediatrician and office location the very next day. I can't imagine having gone through this 3 hour ordeal with a sick child instead of a well one!

She is a one woman show and doesn't deal with typical overhead that one would expect of a medical practice. This allows her to place all her focus on her patients. I am really impressed with Dr. Bissonnette. He truly takes his time in getting to know your child…read more I never felt rushed during any office visits. My child had a pretty severe case of reflux as an infant and he asked so many questions and really tried to get to the root of the problem and came up with a great plan of action. He really seems to care about his patients. He has taken the time to return my calls personally and discuss my concerns. What really blew me away was the phone call I received today. Unfortunately, we switched insurance companies and could no longer see Dr. Bissonnette. I should have let him know at the time, but we got so busy I forgot. That was about 7 months ago. Today he called (yes, you read that right, Dr. Bissonnette personally called, not his secretary) to check in. He had assumed we switched doctors, but wanted to see if I wanted records faxed to our new doctor. He then spent several minutes speaking with me about my child. I could not believe the level of service he provides. I only wish we could switch insurance plans and return to him. I highly recommend taking your child to see him. You will definitely be in good hands!

My daughter and son-n- law are out of town and given my granddaughter has asthma and has had repeated bouts w bronchitis and pneumonia I took her to Coast Pediatrics, I carried her in my arms and when I got in I realized I left my mask in the car. I asked for a mask and they said we can sell you one for a dollar. Then she said you will need one for your granddaughter so I will charge you 2 dollars. No concern for the sick baby I was holding. I couldn't believe my ears. I was suppose to put down the child to hand her 2 dollars for masks. Here I'm holding a crying child, my purse and her clothing because she just didn't want to be out of my arms. There are no words to describe how angry I was. I left to go to urgent care and can't get over this office experience. If Dr Del Re was still at this practice, this would never have happened. We should have left when he did.
