Great doctor. Though unfortunately the phone is another issue. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes to speak with Children's Rady representative  and then seemed completely unaware of the issue I was calling about and offered no helpful solutions. The customer service agents are rude and dismissive, refusing to listen to my concerns and abruptly ended the conversation before I could fully explain the problem. This is the third occurrence which is why I decided to write a review because it has happened several times and is poor customer service etiquette.  Customers should never have to wait on hold for over 30 to 45 minutes and when they get on the phone they don't even apologize for their delay, act as if you are disrupting their day.  This experience is definitely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE on all levels.  And should be addressed immediately, appropriately. read more

Dr. Madany was my pediatrician growing up. So when I finally had my son, I knew I was going to be on the hunt for him because there was no one else I'd rather have. I was so happy to get him in and see him again. He was my two sisters, and two cousin's pediatrician. He also sees my niece and nephew. He feels like family and someone I trust immensely. I only wanted the best and honestly that isn't even describing him in whole. He truly is amazing and when we go to my son's appointments, he answers all of my questions and also just checks to see how I'm doing. My husband and I just had our first kid and had to pick out a pediatrician. We picked Dr. Madany based on his amazing reviews, and he has surpassed any expectations we had. I didn't think physicians like Dr. Madany still existed in this fast-paced world. He is extraordinary! He was thorough, soo accommodating to our 18 month old to make him feel comfortable, answered all our questions honestly and never ever made us feel rushed! SUPER AMAZING DOCTOR!!!! Our first experience with the first pediatrician we saw was HORRIBLE (see my review for her practice if you want to know where NOT to go)! Dr. Madany is quite possibly the nicest doctor I've ever met! It takes a special kind of person to work with kids and this certainly was his calling!!! First of all, how many doctor's offices have you been to where the doctor, not a nurse, calls you back to the exam room? Our first visit here that's exactly what happened. Don't get me wrong, on busier days (like Mondays) you'll wait a little bit past your appointment time and a nurse will take you back, but either way, your child is in good hands and the exam hasn't even started yet! We trust Dr. Madany whole heartedly and when we're unsure about how to proceed ( to circumcise or not to circumcise, to vaccinate or not to vaccinate? Those are the questions!) with a course of action we ask his opinion and we trust it! He does circumcisions in office (the last pediatrician was going to refer us out) and explains the whole procedure to make you feel more comfortable and confident. We never feel rushed and we never mind waiting a little bit longer to see him. We know that the reason we're waiting is because another child and their parents are getting the same super star treatment that we're about to receive!! read more

He has excellent bedside manner, he listens to your questions and makes suggestions but leave the decision to the parents, especially regarding vaccination which as most people know is very controversial these days. I don't want to ding Dr Madany, but my last experience was horrible. Update July 7, 2014. Dr Madany was fine but the staff at suite 401 at the children's way office sucks. Actually, it's just one nurse. She's tall and African-American. After checking in, we waited10 min past our appt time to be seen (not bad). When we were in the exam room, from the time that nurse left until the time we saw Dr Madany was 20 minutes. After the exam was over with Dr Madany, we had to wait another 30 MINUTES before my 6 month old son received his shots. It wasn't until I had to physically stand outside and flag down another nurse to ask about the holdup. But even that wasn't enough, because after Dr Madany had wrapped up his appt after us, he was shocked that we still hadn't received shots. He then had to go get that horrible nurse. Horrendous patient care. I sincerely hope it's just a one time occurrence. read more

Dr. Madany is incredibly patient if you're a new parent. He's also VERY gentle. He'll spend as much time as you need to go through as many questions as you might have no matter how busy he is. He typically won't leave the office unless you are completely done with your questions. He always answers them very thoroughly too and gives you a LOT of information. We just love Dr. Madany. He does take his time (which I think sometimes makes him run a little late) but the wait is worth it because I know how he is. He's very thorough and is wonderful with my daughter. and I know he's being so thorough with all the other kids in his office. Even though he's very busy it is still not hard to get appointments within a reasonable time frame, and urgent appointments are no problem. Weve been seeing him for a couple of years. We totally trust him. He takes every issue seriously and if you know him you know that he really reallly listens, pays attention to, and takes seriously what your kid says! he is also very good at getting back to you if you have any questions after youve left the office and with giving you test results. Weve had other primary care Dr.s prior to him and communicating with them was definitely not as easy as communicating with Dr. Madany. I dont think a whole day has ever gone by without an answer to a question or concern being given. And he will always answer every question you have while in the office. I leave there very confident that my daughter is getting the best care there is. (and Im very much a worrier). Plus he is just as nice as can be. He is the Best pediatrician you will find! As an RN myself, and as a mother of 3 kids under the age of 5, I am one to know. With 3 little ones, I see him quite a lot. Over the past four years, I have never had a bad experience. He is calm, gentle, personable, through, explains everything, answers all of my questions and never rushes no matter how busy the office is. He's fluent in English, Spanish, French and Arabic! He really cares about his patients. Yesterday I had an issue with my daughter and called the nurse line for advice. The nurse told me my daughter had to be seen, but the office was booked and told me to go to urgent care. On my way out the door to urgent care my phone rings and I didn't recognize the number but answered it and it was Dr. Madany, calling me back himself. Asked what was going on.
