Jo Wilson, the designer, is a bubbly person and with a great personality, but there were…read moremeasurement mistakes that surprised us during our kitchen remodel. --During our kitchen remodel, she and the builder decided that the door frame to our laundry room had to be taken off to fit a kitchen cabinet. "Sometimes with this product, you have to scooch a little bit... and these things happen." was her explanation. I was very shocked that this design "alteration" was done without checking with the homeowner, first! --The other major mistake was on the other side of the laundry room door -- the new pantry cabinet was set too close to the wall, and the pull-out drawers bumped into the door frame. --Plus, when I expressed concern that a section of cabinets slanted slightly and needed to be adjusted before the granite countertop was put in, I was told, "Don't worry, ******* will shim and adjust and your cabinets will look great." My husband actually fixed the slant before the countertops were put in in order to fix that mistake. We discharged Jo and her builder before the job was done, because we did not have confidence that the last steps, the tile work and the hook up for the electrical appliances were going to be done correctly.
