Aquidneck Services wax on the preferred provider list and they are local for us. The need assessment was done quickly as was the quote. We chose our plan and arranged all the rebate/financial and within a month had the equipment installed. What a change! Should have done it long ago. Thanks to Eddie and Simon for helping with the process (and answering a lot of questions!) and to Tim and Jonah who installed the mini-splits and took the time to ensure the correct placement for max coolness (and also answered lot of questions!) Tim had to determine best placement of outside hoses for the bedroom unit and then make it work. All work looks fantastic! They also offer annual maintenance. We are very pleased with the service.

My business needed Propane exterior piping repaired due to a leak. I called several Plumbers in…read morethe area and none were bold enough to take on the job, causing me stress, aggravation, and time wasted. On top of that, this issue came during a time where the winter season had just changed, and this and other companies were backed up. After calling, Katie explained this to me, and explained that she would contact me back once a slot filled open. She did and a very professional team of two came and looked at the piping a few days later. They explained what they would be doing and went out and bought the tools they needed and repaired the pipe in a few hours. I also had some other unrelated piping issues and the tech was eager to take a look at it for me and attempted to help remedy the situation, and also said he would have his boss provide me with a quote. I will eventually call them again to take care of the other issues, because they were very professional and confident, unlike the 2 other contractors that came by. Great service! Will do business again.

RE Coogan himself was the only one to call us back when we had a problem in the dead of winter. He…read moreevaluated the problem during a storm over the phone with us, gave us tips to get through the evening and was out the next day to assist and get things rolling. We were confident in his abilities based on how well he listened to our concerns and was able to help in a pinch. He was personable and engaging. We felt his estimate was fair and honest. He helped walk us through the RISE process for Weatherizing our home, and was super patient as we dealt with a lengthy delay in processing the 0% financing loan - which in the end, was the most frustrating part of it. But, surprise, surprise, that's a RISE problem - not an RE Coogan problem! Coogan's dedicated team of professionals were efficient, prompt and neat throughout the installation of our new unit. Our heat and hot water never worked so well - atleast in the years I can remember! He brought us great peace of mind and a relationship that we are fortunate to have for our future needs.

Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called on Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made. Henry, Nick, and the rest of the team were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, leaving everything clean when the job was finished. It is rare to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, and genuine care for its customers the way R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. does. We are extremely grateful to Rob and his team for their outstanding service and highly recommend them.

After a bathroom floor replacement turned into a nightmare--with the flooring company leaving a huge mess, my toilet in the bathtub, my bathroom door off, and even my baseboards in the trash--I was already stressed and displaced in a hotel. The flooring company also took three extra days to finish, due to a dispute between the owner and his contracted worker, delaying the plumbing work. Throughout it all, Mike answered every call, offered helpful advice, and reassured me they would come as soon as I was ready. His son arrived early, completed the plumbing work perfectly, tried to put my door back on for me, and even took away my old toilet at no charge. Their price was significantly lower than the other quotes I received, and the work was excellent. I'm so grateful for their kindness and professionalism and will always use Zompa Plumbing going forward!
