I would give them a zero review if I could. My first appointment with them was 6 months ago. They…read moretook X-rays but didn't clean my teeth. Dr Vilardo said that all of my teeth problems were due to sleep apnea. I had my second appt with them a few days ago. She had quit and opened up her own sleep clinic. They told to be 15 minutes early, so I was. 5 people came in after me, they were all called back before me. Dr Rogers told me that I needed four crowns. He said that if one of my tooth cracks, he would have to pull it and do a root canal. All of this work would cost me $4,000. I just went and had a second opinion from Dr Timothy Pohlman. He said that I didn't need any crowns. Dr Pohlman won America's top Dentist in 2025. He's out of network with me, that's the only reason I haven't been going to him. Now I don't care. I will pay out of pocket because he is honest and trustworthy. I would stay far away from Roger's.

I can't say the same for the care I received from Dr James Rogers (aka "Dr Jim"). - "Dr Jim" broke the post off for a dental implant while screwing it into my jaw causing me to have to go through the lengthy implant process again. - After Dr. Nagy had done the prep work for a root canal, leaving the original crown in place, "Dr Jim" then said he "couldn't do his best work" without that crown being replaced at significant additional cost and seemingly questioning Dr. Nagy's judgement. - After getting home from that appointment I realized that the crown on the tooth below the one "Dr Jim" had been working on was missing, requiring another replacement. - Two days after "Dr Jim" performed additional implant work, a crown that had been in place for 45 years near where he was working cracked. "Dr Jim" said all of this was simply "unfortunate timing". Rogers' billing practices are problematic as well. Several years ago, they turned our son, who was a minor at the time, over to collections for non-payment of a bill which they eventually admitted had never been sent. More recently, I received a $1200 bill over 11 months since the last time I had been in their office. I have moved on to another dentist and I cannot recommend Rogers Family Dentistry, especially now that Dr. Nagy has retired.

This dentist is understaffed and not even able to provide emergency care to his own patient! Totally unacceptable Care Dr Anton! I understand that you were understaffed, but you don't leave one of your patients in agonizing pain over the weekend! Unacceptable! Didn't you take an oath? Today is Thursday, 29 May and the not so sympathetic front desk receptionist Kim, has the audacity to inform me that they have crowns scheduled, and they cannot fit in my husband for 5 days! My husband who is also a patient of their practice for five years now, who happens to wake up with a toothache and is in extreme excruciating pain, and Kim wants me to be understanding and happy that they are not able to see him for five days and they can call that emergency? Instead, Kim recommends that I take him to his family care practitioner who could prescribe him medication? I couldn't believe I was hearing her say that. We don't want medication we want his dentist to diagnose why his tooth hurts! His primary care physician is not able to do that! This practice is a joke! beware!

While it's true that it is a small practice, and only open Tuesday, Weds and Thursday-- the quality of dental care is exceptional and they staff there is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They try their best to accommodate their patients and will go out of their way to do so. I have been a part of their practice specifically because Dr. Anton Wensauer is such a phenomenal, personable and skilled dental provider. I always have an amazing experience there, and leave happy with the service(s) provided, as do my other family members. We have been members of their practice for about 7 years and at least 5 of those years we have stayed specifically for Dr. Anton. I trust no other provider or practice with my smile more and could not recommend it enough!
