I've been seeing the same dentist for over 35 years - sadly, he retired. The dentist who replaced him wanted to do some work on my husbands teeth, so we had a plan written up and said we would talk about it at our next 6 month visit. During that visit, nothing was mentioned about the work they said should be done for my husband, but they wanted to do a crown on me. Feeling uneasy, I decided to get a second opinion - I called two local dentist - one said they would do the 2nd opinion for $280. I then called Anderson Smile Center - explained my situation - I wasn't looking for a new dentist, just a 2nd opinion. The lovely girl said the xray would cost me $30 and Dr. Avondoglio would not charge more than $80 for the consult. He gave me the info I needed & even though he knew I wasn't looking for a new dentist did not charge me a consultation fee! I walked out of there for less than $30.00! My husband and I had our semi annual check up with our favorite dentist this week! Dr. Avondogilio, Laurie, Gina and Christi are all wonderful. Laurie greeted us when we came in and took care of appointments, and answered our insurance questions. My husband was really pleased with the care Chrisiti took cleaning and checking his teeth Gina took cleaned my teeth and was very informative regarding the care of my teeth. Also assured me that my wisdom teeth were there to stay; it didn't look like they were going anywhere and shouldn't cause me any concern! Dr. Avondogilio was very thorough. Also very personable. Our previous dentist had retired and we are oh so happy we found such a wonderful dental practice!! Looking for a new dentist, give them a call!! read more

Great staff, great care, great place! I have been coming to this location for many, many years; Dr. Goldschmidt, then Dr. Ress, and now Dr. Dane Avondoglio. Lori has always been very attentive and patient while scheduling my appts and informing me about insurance. Christie (*awesome*) and Gina have always been extremely gentle, but very thorough, with my teeth cleanings. One time , due to insurance changes, I had to find a new and different dentist office and location. It just wasn't the same! I never returned and , thankfully, worked with the staff at Anderson Smile Center to return to where I had always been satisfied. Love everyone at my Dentist's office! Nice, cheerful, friendly. It just makes me feel good when I walk in, (would love to hire their decorator to do my own home). Very professional team. They handle my idiosyncrasies with finesse (neck pillow, X-ray collar, quick gag reflex) and I feel well cared for! Regular bi-annual checkups and a recent root canal; I've been going there for years and hope to never leave this practice. Lori always helps work with our schedule to get us in without missing work or school. I've been searching for a great dentist with caring staff and this is it. I've had issues at my previous dentist that were never resolved. I can't say enough about how great Dr. Ress and staff are. I prefer a small practice vs. a big one. Everyone here puts you at ease and they work with you to keep you informed. The entire staff - from Lori at the front desk, to my personal Dental Hygienist Gina, and Dr Avondoglio - are always outgoing, friendly, and truly interested in my health and well-being. Going to the dentist is something I try very hard to avoid. BUT since this past year I have had such wonderful and very gentle care from Anderson Smile Center. On December 16th, I had a procedure done that I was sure would cause me a great deal of pain. But to my surprise I had no pain at all. Just had a temporary Crown put on today. It's the first time that I had zero pain when getting a Novacaine injection. The staff is always compassionate. They knew I was nervous and made be feel very comfortable before the procedure began. Dr. Dane explained every step during the procedure. I would highly recommend this practice! read more
