On July 10th I ran into an issue while trying to unload 8000 lbs. of flooring material from a semi-trailer. My options were to turn the truck around and pay a substantial fee to have it returned at a later date or to find a generous business citizen to help me out. Having seen Land & Coates build their new building on Rt. 17 with a huge inventory of equipment and a loading dock, I made a mayday call to this business that didn't know me from Adam. Brad's response was an enthusiastic "Yes". Even though the truck arrived after closing hours, Brad stayed and personally handled removing and then rearranging material on the trailer so we could access it with our equipment. I offered to pay but Brad would not take a dime. He simply said that he and his company are committed to helping out the community. This is the kind of business we want in our community.
