Josh Rawlins confirmed those notes, but even with a video showing the technician right along the raised bed, he said there was no way to guarantee whether or not any mist touched the soil to contaminate the bed. So, rather than doing the ethical thing and offering to compensate for all of the spoiled materials, they claimed no wrongdoing so they lost a customer and referral source. Predictably, service has suffered when the big fish took over the local little one. A new service man who was pleasant, but then missed two appointments where he kept us waiting for some hours and didn't show up as planned. Not even a call for the second missed appointment. The boss did offer to put another man on our contract, but we decided to go back to a local company. When you terminate your service the Orkin folks tell you it will take six weeks to get your remaining portion of your annual payment refunded, because it has to be done by the Atlanta office. Yet another reason why one can always expect less when a good local company is bought by a larger national organization.
