I had the best experience from start to finish. The office was great, the surgery scheduling & insurance was handled seamless. Best of all was the success of my surgery! Dr Marra is my hero! The pain management was ideal - Exparel- a slow release, long acting block that is administered at the surgery site, during surgery. I never needed one pain pill. Five weeks post surgery and I am so happy with the success of this procedure. I cannot thank Dr Marra, his staff and the Bloomfield Surgery Center enough. This was a great experience. I recommend Dr Marra with the utmost confidence.

We've been seeing him for the past 20 years and there is no physician who even comes close to his honest, CARING, expert care. He is a rare gem these days in the medical community. No one answers the phone, just voice mail. If you wanted to become a new patient, you apparently have to download a form online or go directly to the office and pick up a form. Dr. Fanti has been my dad's primary care doctor for at least five years and before Dr. Fanti came on to the practice, Dr. Egelhofer was his doctor. They've both been great and so has the entire practice. They are extremely patient with my dad and me, his caretaker, and always get back to us with answers to any questions we have. Dad also appreciates the extra service they have where someone checks in with him via telephone once a month to see how he's doing and then reports to Dr. Fanti. Dad feels very well taken care of and I agree with that assessment. Good folks, great service.

Dr Malladi was terrible…read more His review of my issues was cursory at best. He literally spent 30 seconds with me in the patient room and pushed me off to a nurse who wanted to unnecessarily inject me for testing i did not request. I was concerned with food allergies and they wanted to test me for pollen and grass! Way to listen to why your patient is there. He took zero interest in my concerns, did not follow up and did not resolve anything. He literally made zero assessment but freely charged me $200. Now i have to find a more qualified Dr and pay them yet again.

I was greeted with a blunt demeanor and basic questions, as was the person in the next room (the office has thin walls). He did not give adequate time for me to answers or explain. He spent about 10 minutes with me then ordered x-rays (I had sent a CD with x-rays taken a month ago). There is no computer in the exam room to discuss the results, he showed me a picture of an x-ray on his phone. There are charges if you want a copy of the doctors notes, x-rays or to have your records sent back to you, I've never had this at other places. My insurance was charged twice the amount as other orthopedic surgeon appointments costs. I gave 2 stars because he did give a opinion but if I knew what the place was like I would have gone somewhere else.

His approach was spectacular--first he listened, then he explained. I do not have Lupus. To be sure, sure, sure, he ordered three more blood tests, and they confirmed no Lupus. I am grateful for his holistic approach to me as a person, and to my condition and symptoms. I was also impressed with his office medical assistant, Tina, who was kind, professional and attentive, on a busy day. You will be in good hands with this rheumatologist, who looks at the big picture, but keeps the patient's own feelings and intuitions as an important component of his diagnosis.

Finally I decided to get them checked out. I went through a few tests at the office. Dr. Wintman told me the tests showed my case was mild. "Mild" I thought? No way! He then assured me that just because the tests show mild does not mean I do not have a worse case. There was no way I could wait any longer dealing with my hands. I planned on only one hand to see if the surgery worked. I was very nervous. The surgery and recovery time are quick and PAINLESS. Out of surgery Dr Wintman told me the carpel tunnel area was extremely tight. Thank goodness I wasn't crazy! I had pain of about a three on a pain scale. No need for medication stronger than ibuprofen. It took about two weeks for a full recovery. I immediately scheduled the other hand. Dr Wintman explained every surgery is different and not to expect the same results. After the second hand, I had zero pain. Dr Wintman said this hand was much tighter inside. This hand actually hurt me less. I was back to work after four days. This hand took longer to recover. The feeling I had was like a slight lagging feeling in my hand. I knew it just needed time and to be rubber out. I am two months out from both surgeries and would do it again!! ( even though I won't have to). I 1000% recommend Dr WIintman and his staff!
