I didn't think much of it but my favorite part are the dates that I can taste at the bottom. This time there were no dates at all. I asked the employee if maybe she forgot to add the dates and she said they make them with less dates now. So raising the price by $2 and then using less of the ingredients? I didn't taste any date at all either. She was nice enough to add some for me but I won't be coming back for a watered down $11 drink. You can't raise the price AND cheap out on the ingredients. That felt dismissive and uncomfortable. The owner's response of "we're not for everyone and that's ok with us" came across less like accountability and more like not caring about a customer's experience. Mistakes happen -- that's understandable -- but how they're handled matters. What especially stood out to me was being told "sorry you felt you had a bad experience," because I didn't just feel like I had a bad experience -- I did. For a business centered around "nutrition," it's disappointing to feel like concerns about ingredients and what's actually in the drinks are brushed off. If caring about ingredients, transparency, and customer service means we're "not for everyone," then I think this response speaks for itself.
