I come to this location because its conveniently located near my home. However, I always question why after my experience. My smoothies are always watery, and the flavors always taste off. I usually go with oatmeal because thats the safest bet. Today was the worse experience.
The cashier which was male, was very polite and friendly. He did his job well. His manager a shorter dark haired woman was training a new employee (also female) which I get, when you get a trainee your order will take longer.
I had originally ordered a strawberry smoothie bowl, but before the cashier inputted that order I changed my mind and ordered a Peanut Butter n' Jealous instead. The manager didnt hear that I changed my order and had already started the bowl, then frustrated she looks at the cashier and rudely raises her tone at him and says, "Ugh, are you serious, she ordered a bowl first," -- excuse me... "I am standing right here," I thought to myself!
Anyhow, so she finished the smoothie part of the bowl and places it in the freezer, I tell her, "since you went through the trouble to make it, I will just pay for it," she looks at me with a sarcastic smirk and says, "thats fine" and walks away to instruct the trainee on my order.
I get my order and it is clearly not the Peanut Butter n' Jelous, I order the drink about 2-3x a week so I know what to expect. Its watery and it didn't even fill 3/4 of the cup. I take a sip, and tell the manager, "escuse me, this is not the drink, it doesn't taste like my usual order."
Her reply is: "yes it is, you ordered a peanut butter n' jealous?"
I say, "yes, but it doesn't taste like it and its watery"
Her reply - extremely annoyed which showed all over her face and body language (not looking at me at all) was "we followed the recipe, it is the drink - we can remake something for your again..."
The trainee was standing behind her just starting at the awkward interaction, the cashier was apologetic and saying, "I can make it for her," and I just said, "you know what, its okay. Thanks."
Gave her back my drink and walked away. As I left she rolled her eyes, and said "sure, i offered to make her another drink."
I'm officially done with this store. Gave it multiple trials, and usually am happy with my orders less than half of the time - the snooty and rude manager didnt help. People need to re-learn social skills and customer service.
The cashier should have trained her! Kudos to him and sorry to the trainee :) read more
