This and a bottle of water was almost $8.
Nicki S.

It's been years since I've been inside a Jamba Juice. I honestly can not remember the last time. My son was feeling thirsty so I used yelp to find this place. First thing I noticed, this area is hopping on a week day evening with other restaurants in the area. Parking sucked. Upon entering the store, you get hit with what can only be described as a bleachy smell. I guess that's a good sign. They're clean. But it was a little much. Their employees were very nice. They worked quickly. They're the reason I'm giving them 3 stars. What bugged me was the price! After noticing how much their prices had increased since the last time I was there -- I ordered my son a smoothie and decided to share with him. The guy offered to put it into two cups -- which was nice. I declined and let my boy have his drink. A bottle of water and a small smoothie was almost $8. $8!!!!! A kids' hot chocolate and a grande coffee at Starbucks would be the same price -- and water is free there. I do not think the drink was at all worth the price. It didn't taste out of this world. I remembered why I'm not a frequent customer.

Jamba Juice is one of the number one reasons why I miss Hawaii; why? Because there are many located in Hawaii, but not so many in Chicago. There was a Jamba Juice location near the Chicago theater, but it closed down. Seems to be like that for Jamba Juice locations in Chicago, but I guess business isn't doing to well compared to Hawaii. The last one I believe we have in Chicago is located at the Navy Pier, I think! Anywho! I dropped in, after having a interview for a job in the Oakbrook Terrace area, and Jamba Juice was one place that I had to make a quick pit stop at, and the customer service totally great. I ordered the 'Pumpkin Smash', which has a eggnog/pumkin pie taste to it. Very good! I'm one that likes to try different things, and this was recommended by one of the employees. Enjoy!

I have visited a few Jamba Juice Chain locations. I've never had an issue with any of the locations. The staff is always friendly and educated about the products on the menu. I have always been greeted with a nice smile and attitude. The taste and quality is always delicious and blended well. Fast and efficient service.

Good service ! Note that during this pandemic , they only allow 5 people in the store , so don't get irritated if they ask you to wait outside . That's for safety reason.

Even though it was busy on a Friday night, our table felt secluded and no one rushed us. It's hidden away in one of the enormous malls in the western suburbs of Chicago. Parking can be stressful on a weekend.

Is it a bakery? Is it a restaurant? Is it a coffee bar? Yes. Beatrix is all of them at once, and…read moresomehow none of them feel like an afterthought. We went last Saturday morning and it was standing room only with a line to the coffee bar, then we loved it enough to come back for breakfast the next day. That should tell you most of what you need to know. The lemon burst cookie is the reason to walk in the door and a reason to come back. Delectable, plenty of lemon, plenty of tart, and it goes down dangerously fast. We ordered it twice across two visits and would have gone for a third. The lavender honey latte was very good, just the right amount of lavender, not too sweet. The regular coffee was solid, and they let me do a half-and-half decaf without blinking. Sunday breakfast was straightforward, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, a Virgin Bloody Mary, and all of it was well executed. The menu is ample enough that you could come back several times and not repeat yourself. The decor is modern chic, the seating has a relaxed couch-and-lounge feel, and the music including Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, Van Halen, etc, was the kind of 80s pop-rock playlist that makes a Saturday morning feel like it has a soundtrack. Not too loud, just right. The restrooms were really nice and accessible. The crowd was a genuine mix, families with kids, older couples, and young "elite", the kind of clientele that parks Maseratis and Ferraris out front but doesn't need the prices to match, because they don't. The menu is moderate for Oak Brook, which is a pleasant surprise. Wait staff were excellent, friendly, accommodating, attentive. This works for a casual coffee run, a family breakfast, or a special occasion with reservations. If Beatrix were a TV character, it would be Lorelai Gilmore, fast, charming, effortlessly good at three things at once, we get it Lorelai, you're over caffeinated. 4.4 Stars The honest gripe: we felt a little rushed. Breakfast came and went in forty minutes, the waitress was ready to move us on in 30 minutes, but we pumped the brakes and asked for our second lemon burst cookie of the weekend, and it would've been nice to get the signal that we could linger. My sense is they're popular enough that turning tables is the priority, and I get it, Lorelai has a business to run, but it's the one thing that kept a great morning from being a perfect one. What would push it to five stars: let us sit with our coffee a little longer. We came back two days in a row, we clearly want to be here. Just let us stay.

I was so disappointed when I stopped seeing her at the LaGrange Park location, but when I saw her at the Elmhurst store I was teary eyed. There are some people who just go above and beyond when they really don't have to, and Denise absolutely does in every interaction and encounter we have had with her. She is always so kind and both empathetic and energetic in her responses to all of my questions. Honestly, shopping at Fruitful Yield is my self-care and I feel that my business is always appreciated - I try not to shop anywhere else if I can help it because I love this company so much and they employ so many amazing women, especially Denise.
