While we waited for our food to arrive, we noticed a steady flow of customers all the way until closing time! It's clear Island Grill & Pub is a local favorite. The food is packaged up to go, but there are plenty of tables to dine-in once you have your food...and a big screen with movies and Jamaican music playing in the background to keep you entertained. The wait for the food is a bit long...but EVERYTHING came out very fresh, very authentic, and worth the wait. The portions were plentiful, the food was flavorful and seasoned well, and the items were priced well for the value. The owners and their family were incredibly personable, welcoming, and easy to talk to. They made us feel right at home. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a second time during our trip. Our favorite dishes were the curry goat and the Jamaican meat pie. Both were full of flavor and absolutely delicious.
