My family ate here on our way to Florida. We shared curry shrimp, curry chicken, and jerk chicken. Our sides included mac and cheese, sweet plantains, steamed cabbage, and collared greens. The portions were plentiful, and the food was great. If you're passing through Perry, GA, give this place a try. The photo shows jerk chicken and rice, sweet plantains, and collard greens.

Awesome food. I had the Oxtain dinner serving. Very well cooked and had the right flavours.

The food looked VERY good and beautiful but the flavor just wasn't there. The service was appreciated. The ambience was good as well. Unfortunately, I do not see myself returning back due to the lack of flavor. The food was very bland. The statement "looks can be deceiving" is the best way I can describe it.

Food was good, but seems a bit overpriced. Would come here a lot more often if the prices were better.

The medium ox tail plate. As you can see oxtails are teeny tiny. Definitely not worth the price to me.

This spot use to be a small jewel in the quaint town of Perry, Ga. When they first open, it was a nice lady working the front, very friendly. They also gave you your money's worth. Now it's not the same and the prices went up with less portion sizes. I keep going back only because I love Jamaican food and this place is convenient to my home. But if I had another choice I would most definitely never return. Definitely, nothing to brag about here!!!!!

    Good place to eat!

Bangin chicken, just enough spice! The rice and peas, collards, cabbage, patty and coco bread were all delicious!

The jerk chicken had a great kick, which was exactly what I was looking for, and the rasta pasta slapped. It was creamy and flavorful. Honestly, the best side option, and I wish I opted for more of that. Better than the mac n' cheese, which I found to be alright. I have been to other places that include rice, but the meal here doesn't come with rice, so you have to choose it as a side. Not that it's necessary since there's rasta pasta right there. It's not a particular big place, but you can definitely eat here. When I visited, it was empty but busy because most people seem to opt for takeout here. I wish that the person at the front was a little more helpful with the difference between a medium and a large. I understand it's more food, but is the container bigger? Or is it another scoop or portion of meat? Does making it a large mean the sides are more too? I don't know, I was only told it was more food. I got the impression that I was being annoying, and I should hurry up and order, so I did. Not the best experience, so it's a good thing the food makes up for that.

I liked that the chicken was soft, perfectly stewed and not tough. Cabbage is firm but cooked how they are supposed to be cook. Rice and peas were perfect. Service was fast. My husband got the jerk chicken. His taste hadn't returned fully so he couldn't tell me if what he had was good or not lol. I however thoroughly enjoyed my oxtails. They were flavorful, tender, and the portion size was hefty. I ate off this plate for three days. I think the price point was average for Jamaican food. The rice and peas were good, but just a little greasy from the oxtail gravy. I also was hoping the rice would have a more coconutty flavor than it did. The Mac and cheese had a really good flavor, it was nice and cheesy and they had some kind of pepper in there. The greens were alright, about as good as you can expect for a restaurant, nothing like homemade though. I would definitely like to come back to try their jerk chicken and rum cake.

The food itself was nothing short of incredible. We both had jerk chicken plates and although their sauce has a kick to it I wouldn't say it was overly hot. I got the sauce on the side and ate it all. We will definitely be back.
