If you're hoping for a livelier social scene, check the forecast before booking. From my experience, weekdays are generally slower, while weekends are where the energy picks up. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had excellent A/C--which you'll definitely appreciate in the summer. Service deserves a special shoutout. The owners and staff were incredibly responsive; anything I needed (within reason) was just a text away and handled quickly. The food was genuinely delicious, but it's only open on weekends, so plan ahead if you're visiting during the week. * Nearby towns aren't far away, but delivery options are limited and can get expensive. * Wi-Fi is only available around the common areas, although cell service was surprisingly reliable. * Bring comfortable shoes if you plan to explore beyond the pool deck. * There are complimentary canoes available for the main pond, which made for a relaxing afternoon.
