I happened to take my 2yr old here back in October on a very rainy day. I wasn't sure the drive out from Arlington would be worth it. She had a good time in the bounce house, large play house, on slides and with the large lego collection. We would definitely return. I held a birthday party for my 4-year-old daughter at Jam Time. The staff and facility are impeccable. Everything on the day of the party was taken care of: cake cutting, food display, decorations, and of course entertainment. I relish all the time and worry I saved not having to do any of it. And, leading up to the day of the party, Mandy was extremely reliable in answering any questions that I had about anything from guest list, to logistics of food and favors, to sequence of events for the day. It just made everything so easy and enjoyable. Most importantly, all the kids had fun and parents were relaxed. I highly recommend using Jam Time for birthday parties and I'm looking forward to my daughter's next birthday so I can do it all over again. read more

Best customer service. It's nice to have a staff at a children's place that honestly understands children's behaviors. They are always smiling, friendly, professional and approachable. They make you feel extremely welcome. We had a party a year ago and made a huge mistake not having our daughters birthday there this year. Their birthday parties are exceptional. Mandy is beyond helpful and accommodating to any requests you may have. She makes everyone at the party feel special! Unfortunately my experience at Jam Time was not so pleasant. I am giving it 1 star only because the idea is great. However, the set up, safety, cleanliness, & professionalism was disappointing. I brought my 21 month old daughter in for a trial class. The "receptionist" barely acknowledged me. I had to ask her what I was supposed to do! Not a good 1st impression to start. Then I was hesitant wondering if my daughter was going to make it to the classroom since the play area is first. Once we did make it into the actual class room my 1st thought was "this is small". Nothing was child proofed! My daughter kept going to the fire extinguisher because she was able to open the door (a little duct tape goes a long way!), plugs were not covered, there was water in glass bowls & vases up on tables that were not high off the ground. There was no secure place for paperwork, pens, phones, remote controls - that of course are what my daughter would rather play with - what toddler wouldn't?! When class started I started to wonder if we were put in the right class since my daughter seemed older than most of the children. Once the beginning songs & play stuff started there weren't enough of the items to go around. I wanted to encourage my daughter to join in but there weren't even enough items (sunglasses, eggs, pompoms, etc.) for me to have one to do so. After just letting her run around for a bit & do her own thing - while another child kept opening the class door - she found a bowl of water with toys in it & jumped right into it! It was funny & cute at first (you should see the picture I had to take!) but then I realized I didn't have a towel with me or change of clothes! I also started noticing hive like marks on my her & thought there is no way she's already catching something from this place! I took her out of the water & asked Mandy, the instructor AND owner, for a towel & can't even remember what she said, I just said I had to go, took my daughter & went to the front to change her. My poor daughter got stripped & changed right in front of a bunch of strangers. It would have been nice to be directed to a more private area (I'm sure there's a bathroom at this place with a changing table?! maybe?), Mandy ended up coming up & just saying sorry & that she didn't know what else to do or say. I suggested getting me a towel to start. After she gave me a hand towel she went back to her class. She knows she's not getting any money out of me so why bother, I guess? I started to shake at this point because I felt bad taking my daughter away from fun but I just didn't feel comfortable & after being treated so poorly, we had to leave. I wanted a bag to take her wet clothes home in & asked the girl at the desk to get Mandy again (since she was clueless) & by the time Mandy got there I just asked this other girl for a trash bag & told Mandy that one would've been nice. I left with my baby in just a diaper, wet clothes in a bag & her wet diaper & towels got left on the floor. Another class option wasn't even offered, a phone call or email later on wasn't even attempted.....not a professional way to run a business. I've been all over Metrowest trying to find the right fit for my daughter for a Fall program & this is definitely not it. I thought a franchise would be more likely to have this experience not an individually owned place. Sorry for the long, long detailed rant but it would've been nice to explain why I left all frazzled, if I had heard from Mandy or another employee I would've been able to say all this to her or someone else directly & not to the public. How are people giving this place 4 star reviews. Everyone I know who has taken their child here says their child gets sick within 3 days or so. My neighbors kids got Noro Virus after playing here and another friend's children also got Noro. I figured "How bad can it be" and brought my 1 yr old son to play to be in the air conditioning on a 90+ degree day. The A/C was hardly even on, when I found the thermostat the room temp was 78 degrees and it was set to 70....If you are advertising "come in and play in the A/C" you are gonna have to do better than 78 during heat wave. Thats not even the worst part. Kids were runninga round mouthing toys and they have a ball pit I am pretty sure is NEVER cleaned. My son spiked a 104.7 fever and landed in the ER 24hrs after being at jamtime. Turns out he got foot hand and mouth diesease. This place is disgusting. Sign your kids up for Little Gym or My Gym instead they are much cleaner. read more

I love this place. It's clean, safe and totally fun. I've been bringing my 13 month old here since I think he is getting tired of playing in my living room. He loves it. He is also taking a class here so we get to take advantage of the free play. I am definitely going to sign up during the year too. I saw that another reviewer said the place was dirty and their child got sick. I go there with the expectation that my child may get sick, he's being exposed to other kids and their germs. There is a bin for people to put mouthed toys, hopefully parents follow this rule. Some parents unfortunately take their sick kids to daycare and playgyms and unfortunately germs are spread. I've also seen the staff clean the tables in the snack area and take home toys and clean them behind the counter and I've only been going for a few weeks. I'm really enjoying bringing my son here, maybe because it is also helping him nap for two hours when we get home :) My only one con is that we were there today and it was very hot outside and also felt very stuffy in the gym. read more
