Carne Asada Burrito $14 smaller than a water bottle

I made a phone order today thinking the total wouldn't be too expensive. Went to pick up our order and the total was $57.... Order: 3 Birria tacos $7.99 each 1 Fish taco $7.99 each 1 Horchata $6.99 1 Burrito $14 Total $57.57 The carne asada burrito was the smallest burrito I've ever gotten in my life.... It was smaller than a water bottle for $14 Meat was hard and dry. Birria Tacos was the only good part of this meal. We get it inflation and everything costs more now but absolutely not worth the price :/ unfortunately we will not be returning to this establishment, there are many other restaurants around with bigger portions, better quality and inexpensive.

Burrito

I like to patronize the local restaurants, but if they don't make the effort to deliver good quality and value I'm not shy about saying so. 2 tacos and a burrito for $33. The tacos were just ok, but the 'super burrito' was about 7" long and had almost no filling, and definitely no sour cream, tomatoes, etc. that made it the $20 super burrito.

The goat Mexican food in Brentwood. Really good house margarita as well. The super wet burrito is my go-to.

Cute restaurant on G street, I ordered to go and I placed my order they asked me for my phone…read morenumber and name and didn't give me a chance to asked how long it would take the lady hang up the phone :/ without saying anything. When I got there I waited for a while to get my order, the waitress was busy taking an order at a table. The empanada was really good although it looks burnt . I'm not impressed with the customer service, maybe next time I'll dine in. There's parking on the street.

We were led to believe their menu was 100% El Salvadorean dishes based on the IG reels which was not the case (sad). We were immediately seated soon after we arrived and while waiting for the service, we witnessed a few groups that came in and left soon after since they couldn't wait 15-20 mins for available tables. Based on the menu presented to us, we were told that there were a few items that weren't available and one of them was "Ube pancakes" and that's when we kinda lost it a bit, like "Ube pancakes?!! Isn't this an El Salvadorean restaurant?! Why offer Ube pancakes?!" Whatever- anyways we told the server we came to try the following: 1 pc rice pupusa with queso con loroco $5.25 1 pc regular masa pupusa with queso con loroco $4.75 1 Desayuno Salvadoreño $15.95 As stated on the menu "Delicious deep fried plantain, scrambled eggs with vegetables, CASAMIENTO (see picture), sour cream, and cheese." There was NO trace of CASAMIENTO on the plate nor were we told otherwise by the server. Moving right along to SERVICE: Understandably so, we didn't expect much when it comes to service with two young adults running the floor (taking orders & cleaning tables) - definitely needs more training! Something as simple as bringing over napkins & utensils either soon after cleaning the table, taking an order or even delivering one of the orders or whatever. We waited probably a good 7 mins before we were given teaspoons for our coffee cups and I was literally halfway done with my rice pupusa (thanks to my teaspoon!) before we were given proper utensils and a mason jar of curtido. Note to self: BYO utensils smh It's as if you're forced to only order "to-go" rather than dine-in. Both pupusas were pretty good, nevermind the experience, but as far as the plate order, we will skip it for now until they figure it out whether or not to serve it with a couple of plain tortillas and/or bread (see picture) and perhaps actually serve CASAMIENTO as stated!

I use to go to the Lathrop location that no longer exists now. I got a coupon from a boutique store…read morein downtown Tracy and found out they have a Tracy location!! They honored the coupon even for me being the first to bring it in after a call to the boss I asked to not have veggies in my pupusas order but I do like the cabbage toppings When I got home I topped off my first pupusa and enjoyed half while watching tv. When I got back from school pick up I enjoyed the rest. This location is kinda in a tight spot surrounded with other shops but the lot has parking available but usually busy. I ordered for to go and they have benches to sit while I waited.

I'm sad that I was missing out on this spot! I've been on…read morethe hunt for a good pupusa spot and it's been here all along! Let start off with the service, friendly and helpful! We were greeted right away and seated. The restaurant is big with lots of seating and clean. We both ordered a combo plates. I had the bean and cheese pupusa, chicken tamale, and plantains with beans. The tamale is one of the best ones I've had in the Bay Area. It was made with chicken breast, so no bone in, iykyk. For dessert i had the empanadas de leche. OMG!! So delicious! If you've never tried, I highly recommend. I will say this restaurant is a little pricier than most other pupuserias. But I think it's well worth it! I'll definitely be back.
