I got a few items to try - Enchilada with birria($4.00) Small nachos with pastor(12.00) Corn quesadilla($3.50) for my son Plus they give chips and salsa with your order! That's something I love when Mexican restaurants include that extra little detail of chips and salsa without asking makes me happy. I paid $21.21 and I have sooo much food! Look at the nachoes they are huge! The nachoes were very heavy so they loaded them up beautifully and you get a lot of toppings on each bite. The pastor was a good choice for the nachos, always my go to meat. It seemed like they are popular with birria so I went with the enchilada with birria since I was really wanting to try their mole. They could season their beef a bit more with a tiny bit of salt; at times it was bland. I'd definitely come back again and try a super burrito and another torta. I chose the Original (I think that is what it is called) with ground beef and NO rice. We waited for the food and two of us were served and we were told the rest of our food would be out shortly. I asked what happened to the appetizer my quesadilla and was told it would be out with our meal. I said cancel the appetizer since I wanted it before my meal not with the meal. The waitress said it was being prepared and I again said I wanted it as advertised as an appetizer. My meal arrived and I started to eat my burrito and something did not taste right I took two bites then realized it had rice in it. I stopped eating the burrito and slowly cut open the burrito to find, you guessed it, it was half full of the rice I said I could not eat. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and she said the kitchen must not have paid attention since she wrote NO RICE on the slip. I was hoping she would offer something else to me but she just walked off leaving the 3/4 uneaten burrito. When the bill came I noticed she was still charging me for the uneaten burrito. I brought this to her attention and she developed a nasty attitude saying you ate half of the burrito. I said I did not since I cannot digest rice. She basically said Oh Well we are charging you for the burrito. I said this is how you lose customers and she said Oh Well again. What a terrible attitude to have in customer service. First off she screwed up the order by not placing the quesadilla as an appetizer and then getting upset with us for canceling. The second was when she realized that someone had not paid attention and added rice to a NO RICE burrito and thirdly arguing with a customer about paying for the uneaten burrito. Now I do normally write these types of reviews and sorry for being so long winded but I am so disappointed that they would just as soon lose both long term customers as well as two returning customers over a $12.90 burrito. It became more of an issue of customer service rattan than a lousy $12.90. Never again and both the server and kitchen should take a lesson in customer service. Shame on them.
