Steak bowl with guacamole and jalapeño added.
Shelly F.

Heard alot about Jalapeño Taco and decided to give it a try. OMG our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I had the steak bowl with guacamole. My husband had the steak burrito. The steak in both of our dishes was so tender and delicious. The best guacamole I have ever had. The staff was friendly and greeted you with a smile. The restaurant was really clean. Will definitely be back!

Had a bite of my girlfriends casadilla and the meat was perfectly seasoned. My son got some fries and they were the perfect crispy level. Lastly, had a horchata and that was very refreshing. My dad was down for some tacos so we hit up Taco Azteca before we got to gaming. I actually drove by the place, missing the turn to get there due to the strange parking lot situation. After a loop around the block, we pull in to the shared parking lot and headed inside. My dad was looking at the menu on the drive up and was waffling between a taco salad and a burrito. Once I placed my order for a beef burrito, my dad followed up with the same thing. We tried to find a place to sit but the place isn't too conducive to eating in with the few tables they had were either taken or dirty from the prior visitor. The staff was super nice and friendly in trying to get a table cleaned up for us. We ended up snagging one and were promptly served tortilla chips with some of the best guacamole I have ever had. I'm not big on guac as I find it to taste too similar to pumpkin (everyone I tell this looks at me like I am crazy) but this stuff was delicious and had a nice kick to it. My dad found the sauce in one of the bottles to be spicy as hell and passed on using more of it. I found them to be quite yummy but I love me some heat. We nearly devoured half the chips by the time the food came out. They were that good and the food came out that fast. I'm used to Mexican-sized burritos but these might take the cake. They were MASSIVE. I showed everyone I know and their eyes got huge when they saw how big it was. The fries that came with it were those with the little bits of batter on them and I knew they were going to be good. I knew we were in for a good time. How do you even eat something that big? Very slowly and somewhat messy, that's how. I devoured half my tasty fries to free up space on my plate just in case I made a mess. Luckily, this burrito held itself together rather nicely. The burrito was super tasty but I do feel like maybe a chicken or pork version would've been better. I like beef but wasn't in the mood for it when I ate my burrito. That's on me though for not paying attention when ordering and accidentally getting beef. My dad loved his burrito and was able to put the whole thing down since he didn't eat breakfast. I had breakfast so I was only able to put down a little over half. My bottomless pit of a stomach isn't so bottomless now that I am almost 40 (a week shy of 39 during this visit). Overall, Taco Azteca lived up to the hype and was worth every bite. I really wanted to get some of the guac to go. My only warning is that the parking lot is shared and can be tight as well as the seats inside. This place serves better for carry-out if it's busy like it was when we were there.

First things first, I found the burrito was pretty good - barbacoa was 8/10. Everyone else (7 others) thought their food was okay - average of 7/10 across the board. This is what gives me hope. The food is decent and a little more attention to the meal, it would've been great. But where Ino's needs work is in the customer service, ambiance, and price. Honestly, the greeting, ordering, and delivery was just awkward. It wasn't remotely busy, but like a few waters took a long time, they didn't have avocados to make a guac without tomatoes - or at least that's what we were told - and even though the person ringing me up didn't catch that I ordered two fries (which is ok, not a biggie), it was the tone when I asked about them that unnerved me. Like, I don't want free fries or anything, but what's a basket of fries to feed the family of seven that just dropped as much as I just did for a return visit? Again, don't want free stuff, but the attitude meant I wasn't spending another dime on fries. This place has potential. When someone with a smile and an attentive attitude is engaging with customers, when they are stocked properly with avocados at a Mexican restaurant, and when the quality of meals matches the price tag, I'd love to come back. For now, we're grateful for the other places that do 'celiac friendly' well.

Can you guess which? If you guessed ramen, you're wrong. They stopped serving food when COVID hit or around COVID. I was bummed to say the least because per Yelp, they had some pretty decent ramen. Had my mouth all watering for some good ramen only to get disappointed. Oh well, they did have another one of my favorite things - SLOTSSSSS! Yassssssss! I popped 10 bucks in one of'em and less than 10 mins later I left with a hundred and two bucks. #YaGirlWasHappy I'd say that more than made up for the no ramen having restaurant/slot establishment. I wish I could recommend them for the ramen but I can't but if you looking to win some money playing the slots, this is your place.

I finally made it here over the weekend and really enjoyed my 6 Mama So Secret wings. I will say…read morethat the wings were really good as everyone says but the fries really stood out for me because they were so uniquely fried. They're crispy, but there's also a little chew to them that's hard to described. After they're fried, they're tossed in a wok with the toppings. Even my side fries were drizzled with ketchup, ranch, green onion and some other tasty bits. And yes, David the owner was a very funny and likable guy. It was funny walking in and seeing the owner being super chill and down to earth and cracking jokes with me and some of the other guests, who were total regulars. He kind of reminded me of Mitch Hedberg when he spoke. A bit disappointed that they didn't have rice, but totally happy that they had my pickled radish. I'm a fan of this place. You can tell that this guy is really passionate about his wings.
