We're four-year season ticket holders -- four seats, front row on the first base line, about five feet up from home plate. Not square behind the plate, but close enough that it doesn't matter. Excellent seats and a real value for what they cost. We don't always fill all four; when it's just us we spread out, and when we want company we bring people See our full review under the Gwinnett Stripers page here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/gwinnett-stripers-lawrenceville?hrid=ussEWFiwrHkLGMyS4wyZ7w&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)

A nice night at the field!…read more Parking was super easy & FREE! Paid parktis available, but the lot is not THAT BIG YOU. Easy access! Nice lot staff to guide & help before the game. As you can imagine food & beverage are not allowed from outside the park. Staff check bags upon entry. Food & beverage are NOT cheap (why I gave 4 stars), but they have a lot to offer for a smaller park. We ate before we went so stuck with beverages & Dippin' Dots only. Oh, my son got fried pickles & they were REALLY good!! They have a few activities for children; bounce house & the back lawn to run around. PLEASE be careful on the lawn- one child was hit in the face with a ball hit hot off of a bat when we were there. There is no net to stop them from getting out there. My husband saw him in a wheelchair going to medical. Yikes, I hope he's going to be OK!!! A fun night, good music & a win for the Stipers. Tickets are reasonable, depending on where you sit & the park is pretty much open to do as you please while there. Be respectful, always! Come check'em out with the family. Hope to see you there!

Phantom Fireworks of Duluth - Here's what we got for about $340. It will make a decent at-home show.

We…read moreended up spending about $340 in total and you can see we got a pretty good amount of fireworks, if a somewhat small variety. We went with some double-shell mortars, some color-changing mortars (both with a couple that have crackles), some mini-repeaters with various effects from crackling showers to double reports and varying colors, some bottle rockets with whistles and reports, some sparklers (for mom- "They're NEON! "), and three mid-tier finale repeaters. Total number of shots acquired (not including bottle rockets or sparklers, of course)? 619 shots (32 mortars, 147 mini-mortar-repeaters, 440 repeater shots). Now, the way we got this was each of us purchased separately with our own IDs and "accounts" so that we could double-up on the use of the "buy 1 get 2 free" coupon and still use the "50% off everything" coupon. My mom used the buy 1 get 2 free" coupon for the 3 mortar boxes and a t-shirt and spent about $120. I used the buy 1 get 2 free" coupon for the three repeater finale boxes and a t-shirt and spent about $160. My sister used the "50% off everything" coupon for the 2 sparkler packs, 15 repeaters, and the bottle rockets- and spent about $60. Would I return? Yeah. The coupons made the purchases worth it. However, we had to finagle the coupon situation to make it work for us... If they'd just price things fairly from the get-go, it'd be a whole lot easier. All-in-all, figuring out what the best value for our money was took about and hour and a half of carefully shopping the store and being good at math. The $26 we spent on the obligatory t-shirts we don't care about felt wrong, but it helped us save on the mortars and the finales...so, meh? Obviously , pricing can be better, BUT overall, we came out with a decent deal...BUT WE HAD TO PUT IN THE EFFORT ON OUR SIDE. So, it was not a great shopping experience. I dread it every year.

This would've been a 1 or 2 stars if it was not for nice young gentleman who asked my husband and me if we needed help. He advised us which fireworks to get based on what we wanted and the budget. I don't remember his name but without him, I would dislike this place! We loved the fireworks we purchased. The kids had so much fun and the fireworks were beautiful in the sky. 90/2021

They have a nice field in the center of the park for playing sports with your kids, sometimes you will see people playing soccer or Frisbee. Throughout the year they do have festivals and different events here at the park and I must say it is nice that they have the Agavero Cantina Parkside (Mexican restaurant) that has been now for two years. They just updated their patio. Overall this is a nice park. They do not have any tennis courts as they were taken out to increase parking spots, but they do have a nice multipurpose trail for those who like to bike. In total, the trail is about 10K if you do an entire loop on both sides. Overall, if you live nearby, this is a great park. If you do not live near this area, then there are much larger parks with more to offer in Gwinnett County. [Review #603] (29th Review of 2019)

Yelper Stephen H. had it right when he said that the Confederate Memorial @ Stone Mountain Park…read moredeserves a separate and special review apart from that boat ride, laser shows & etc. of Stone Mountain Park. After all, the carved out of stone memorial is the largest bas-relief sculpture in the world. It pictures Confederate leaders President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson along with their horses, "Blackjack", "Traveller", and "Little Sorrel." Even though it brings with it many of the totally disgusting horrors of the past, was originally brought about though the efforts of the Klan and though many have demanded its removal, it represents a big part of the evil in American history which we must face up to. And history, regardless of it being bad or good ought to be remembered. If we don't, it could in one form or another be repeated. It also became a certain marking point in history when Dr. Martin Luther King in his famous "I have a dream" speech said "Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia," and there are now efforts underway for the creation of a Freedom Bell to tower above it all. There are two ways to see it. You can walk down near the foot of it and look up, but I think the better is to take the gondola lift to the top of Stone Mountain, but when you board the gondola be sure to get to the front of it for the least obstructed view.

It's even larger than the beautiful Mount Rushmore sculptures!! What the carving depicts is controversial. The Confederate Memorial is of three Confederate figures of the Civil War. Specifically they are General Robert E. Lee, General Stonewall Jackson, and President Jefferson Davis. If you remember your U.S. history, the Confederate side fought to keep slavery among other reasons. Took years to complete the carving because of various issues. A dedication ceremony took place in 1970, and the finishing touches to the Confederate Memorial were completed in 1972. The artwork is quite amazing. Because of that, I give it 4 stars.
