Jajaja Mexicana is a vegan Mexican restaurant. They have amazing food and beautiful ambiance. Loved it so much. Tried so many dishes and all were mind blowing. I am definitely going this place again for mouth watering churos .They have very fast and an amazing service.
Vegan Mexican restaurant in wynwood going big on flavor and pushing hospitality! I drop in when in the area because I have a friend who raved about them. She used to have a successful catering business so I definitely took her opinion seriously. Well she was totally right! Fresh, filling, and tasty. The staff is also super friendly, attentive, and fast to help. There's also plenty of seating and I loved the interior design of the space. I ordered the elote, birria tacos, and one of their house mocktails. So much flavor! And the drink was the perfect refreshing beverage on a hot summer day! Def my new favorite spot in wynwood.
Great food, best bite was definitely the hearts of palm ceviche. You should pass on the queso though. One of the best vegan restaurants I've been to. Ambiance was wayyy too dark (and trust me I like a dark ambiance, but this just didn't fit or set the vibe right) and service was ok. Casual setting.
This is an all vegan restaurant The ambience is amazing, loved the food and service. Our server was Johan, he was incredibly helpful! We ordered: 1. Ceviche (5/5): Incredibly tasty and fresh. You MUST get this. The plantain chips that was included pairs well with this. 2. Chorizo Tacos (3.5/5): it's okay, too oily? But tasty 3. Barbacoa Burrito Bowl (4/5): We messed up the order and substituited steak with chorizo - chorizo here is a bit too oily? Otherwise it's a greatt bowl. The sauce that comes with it is yum. So this really is a vegan Mexican restaurant. A lot of the "vegan" options in Miami seem to have changed their menus or something, so our vegan friend was left unable to eat anything place after place. Everything here is vegan including some impressive and difficult elements like sour cream, queso, burria, and chorizo - all vegan and all excellent. Definitely recommend although watch out, the drink prices are Miami. I went with a Michelada, and that was delicious. Also have to say the lighting was just a delight. Hard to say what it was about it but it just felt great to be in there.
I had such a good experience at jajaja. I sat at the bar and Rafael was super nice and really helpful with recommendations. The cocktails were all really good, especially the sotol y cucumber, v refreshing. The restaurant itself is sooo pretty inside. Food-wise, the quesabirria was my favorite, it's huge, honestly enough for like three people. The guacamole was solid, and the watermelon tostada was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. The only thing I didn't love was the queso, it was a little too sweet for me. Dessert was SO good. I'll definitely be back to try the other ones.
Had the pleasure of going to Jajaja in Wynwood to celebrate my MIL's birthday on Saturday night and I cannot recommend it highly enough. MIL is vegan, and it seems that many of the nicer vegan restaurants have either been closing lately (RIP Planta), or I just don't know of them. This place has only been open around 2 months or so, and is a second location of it's popular origin in New York. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and the place was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. I thought the menu had a lot of variety without being overwhelming with choices, and although I personally love eating vegan food, this is the type of scene you could take a meat-loving friend with no complaints. The drinks were aptly priced, fresh, and delicious. The food was creative and masterfully executed. We loved everything we ordered and the birthday girl was very happy with her meal. Our waiter was Javi, and not only was he attentive and chatty, he even organized a handwritten card for my MIL that was signed by the staff! Just above and beyond kind of service, ambience, and flavor. The beet and pumpkin empanadas were our favorite but I thought all the starters were strong. The drinks were also delicious and stood out to me. We can't wait to go back!!
This is probably our 4th time visiting Jajaja. Every time has been wonderful. This time we got brunch and it was fun to try a whole new menu. Our server Johan was great. He made sure to explain the menu and point out his favorites. The best was when he showed us the ice cream taco that was not on the menu. It was amazingggg. I love the music and all of the staff help eachother and are super friendly. We will be back soon.
Our party of seven celebrated my mom's birthday at this restaurant a week ago. The appetizers and entrees were so tasty, that my mom, who is not vegan, didn't even notice that none the dishes contained animal products! We told her when we got home ;) The servers were very attentive and the ambiance calming with low lights. Two thumbs up!
I dined here on Wednesday for an early lunch and the restaurant opened in mid Dec. '25 and I would never have known it if I wasn't told. Everything was perfect! I loved everything about this restaurant and didn't want to leave. So much thought was put into styling it and the menu selection. Miami is very lucky to get this restaurant and I would love to have them in Atlanta. You can tell the leaders care because the service was good, and my drink was comped without having to be asked because of the long wait. I truly do not have one complaint. Paid street parking only! I can definitely see reservations being recommended here once more people learn about this spot. If you don't find parking on 3rd, you should have no issues on the side street. If you're staying in the area, I recommend walking, using ride share or the free Wynwood VW ride. Ceviche is a beautiful work of art and so delicious paired with plantain chips and their hot sauce selection. Negra salsa was my favorite but I preferred the habanero with this dish. Barbacoa bowl was so flavorful and very juicy, the protein was marinated well and very tender. Each ingredient in the bowl was prepared to perfection. It was a very large serving, perfect for two people. All ingredients were very fresh! We also had a salad that had all fresh ingredients, crisp chopped lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, chorizo that was seasoned well, and this very tasty dressing served on the side. I didn't have room for dessert but I will probably try the wedding cookies next time. Lovely selection of spirit free drinks. Matches Verde was creamy and refreshing. Absolutely recommend!
Jajaja really impressed us with how flavorful everything was--even the carnivores in our group left happy! The birria quesadilla was a huge standout and provided more than enough food for two people. While the birria dipping sauce (the consommé) was a bit too salty for my taste, the quesadilla itself was delicious, especially when paired with that amazing creamy charcoal salsa. We also shared the nachos and the dinosaur kale salad. The salad was a hit with the whole table, and while the nachos were very yummy, we did wish they had a bit more of the "meat" toppings. Overall, it's a great spot with vibrant food that doesn't make you miss the meat.
We visited this restaurant during a slow time in the day, which was great for us because we were short on time, the service was exceptional and the food came out pretty quickly. We stopped in for a snack before dinner reservations later, and it was perfect. The green juice was delicious and could easily drink an entire glass of it. The tamale was very interesting made with pigeon peas/gandules and was tasty. We also really like the quesadilla. It was a perfect amount of cheesy to meat substitute ratio. The consume was soooooooo good i could easily drink it by itself. I would recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans alike.
Was so excited to try this place after having it in NY and it did not disappoint! As a Mexican I am still impressed they were able to offer an entirely vegan menu. The food tastes so fresh and is packed with flavor. The nachos and empanadas have been our go to. Both pack with a lot of flavor. Nachos are a good portion to share with the table. Overall such a cute vibe and friendly staff. Definitely will go back to try more items on the menu. If you are a mezcal lover, the pineapple and mezcal cocktail is delicious, fresh with a kick of the smokiness of the mezcal.

Day one, shine or rain customer, and it just keeps getting better. First A shoutOut to Johan, Vi, Leslie AgusT, Ale and Leo, basically everyone there but these are the names I remember. This Gem plant-based Mexican food is a Win for everyone and not just vegans. The vibe inside is always on point. What really makes this place special to me, though, is the hospitality and how friendly everyone is, and living in Miami, I would say it's a luxury. Staff and management always make you feel like family. Whether you're vegan or not, this spot is a gem. Thank you. read more

I went to Jajaja in Wynwood twice within three days... and I'm not even ashamed. The service was decent on our second visit, but the first night? Superb. The food, though? Consistently GOOD. The nachos with the pickled corn are next level--and I don't even like corn! Apparently, I just don't like corn until Jajaja puts it on nachos. The steak burrito was simply incredible. Do yourself a favor: get it fried and add an extra side of queso. Trust me. And PLEASE, whatever you do, get the churros! Oh. My. Goodness. They were absolutely perfect. I recommend asking them to separate the chocolate and caramel dipping sauces. That chocolate is thick, rich, and delicious, and if they're mixed together, you're going to miss out on that caramel flavor. Needless to say, I'm already planning my next trip to Wynwood this weekend. Jajaja, you've officially got me coming back! I love a plant based restaurant with an ambiance. read more

YUM! I'm so glad this vegan Mexican restaurant has made its way to South Florida! My vegan bestie was in town so we headed here for happy hour! We tried the cauliflower tacos, chorizo tacos, guac, and tuna tostadas. The tacos were truly a standout and I was gladly go back...even if my vegan bestie wasn't in town! During happy hour they have BOGO cocktails, but please know they won't split it between people, so we ended up paying full price for two cocktails. But they also have $8 bites, like some of the taco options! My only wish is that they had a mushroom options on the menu - there was one on the website but we didn't see it on their menu. Overall, a cute space and such a great vegan option! read more

I'm not vegan but this place was great! They have a decent amount of space for big groups. The cocktails were amazing and they can modify anything you would like. The food was actually really good. Loved the Guac. The Birria tacos were shocking really good! The service was a little slow because it was busy but the staff was great! 10/10 recommend! I'll be going back! read more

The food is authentic Mexican. The great part is they are all plant-based vegan. Nice use of hot peppers, even on dishes not flagged as hot. The ambiance has a real upscale Mexico City vibe. Highlights include the cool floor tiles, the private bar area, the succulent plants. The service is outstanding but it is the excellent menu that makes this a Wynwood gem read more
Went here with a group of friends with mixed dietary needs and the food was all around REALLY good. All vegetarian, lots of gluten free options, and overall great flavor. I got the Birria Tacos, which was on the more expensive end ($22 for 3 tiny tacos). However, the flavor of the psuedo-steak was really good and great texture/seasoning/mix. It is on the smaller serving size compared to their other food. My friends enjoyed their enchiladas and burritos (which were ~$15-17 and larger). Overall good spot with really good recipes for vegetarian foods! And the service was really kind -- we even got complementary Agua Fresca shots! read more

Not even exaggerating, my favorite restaurant of all time now. I decided to try it after getting it recommended by of few of my vegan friends and wow it did not disappoint. First things first, the exterior and interior of the restaurant is gorgeous: warm lighting, spacious, clean. The service was incredible, the food came quick and thank goodness I came in hungry because that was one of the best vegan food I've ever tried (I got the Chimichanga de Birria Burrito) It's no question why I've been hearing so much buzz around this place! read more

While I have never had the pleasure of visiting a Jajaja location in NYC, I feel that I can say that this new location in Wynwood lives up to the hype. While they've only been open as a soft launch, for the past week and a half, the service was incredibly smooth with excellent pacing of the dishes. I started with a mezcal mojito, which was perfectly balanced with tajín on the rim. For starters, we had the incredibly bright ceviche as well as some mini sopes made of fresh masa. The enchiladas suizas and birria tacos were both divine (the "steak" texture was similar to Chunk steak). The richness of the food felt homemade while the ambiance was elegant and perfect for a date night. I couldn't be happier with this addition to the veg food scene here in Wynwood! read more
