From the moment we walked in, this place felt warm, welcoming, and real -- not trendy, not flashy, just genuinely good. The food was the star of the show. The pupusas were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft, cheesy, and flavorful on the inside, served with bright, tangy curtido that tied everything together beautifully. The rice and beans were simple in the best way -- seasoned like someone's grandma was back in the kitchen -- and the plantains were caramelized, buttery, and impossible to stop eating. You could tell everything was made with care, patience, and pride, not rushed or reheated. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the service was friendly without hovering. If you love bold, comforting, homemade flavors, this is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back -- and soon.

The spices are different and not too spicy hot at all. My favorite is their pupusas with choice of meats, veggies and cheese. Also the chicken enchilada is great. My bowl was not great, possibly due someone to my choices, but also, the pork, which was a major component of my dish, was chewy and just overall not great; it had uneven sized chunks and bits that affected the level of cooking. My selections from the sushi bar underwhelmed; my nigiri looked pale and lifeless and didn't impress from a flavor standpoint, either.
