And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

Her bedside manner is professional, compassionate and just plain good. Dr. Sami does not hesitate to give you the proper referrals to the necessary specialist when required. She does not just write prescriptions without making absolutely sure it is what you need and it does not conflict with something you may already be taking. The office schedules appointments and you are seen right away without a 1 hour wait time. I found her by accident and I am so thankful to God I did. I was promptly greeted by a very sweet woman with blonde curls and a very warm smile for 6:00 am. She'd later help me dress after surgery and I wish I could remember her name because she was a great help. My nurse was a woman named Mary. She is the epitome of a great nurse. Direct but very empathetic and nice. She was available to my every need and and even made small talk while we waited for my doctor. She was phenomenal with me in recovery and was so professional when I had a pee pee accident coming out of anesthesia. I was so embarrassed but she remained calm and showed no aggravation or disdain and helped me. That meant a lot. The anesthesiologist explained to me all about the vagus nerve and the nucleus ambiguus and the role it plays in nausea. The fact he was willing to explain all of that in great detail meant a lot. Another individual was a man in a Raiders scrub hat. He promptly shook my hand, making eye contact and greeted me. He was so great and I have trouble remembering names due to anesthesia but he was so friendly and spoke so highly of his daughter, I really felt comfortable with him. The staff was exceptional. I never worried and felt like one of the gang within in the first hour. To me, this is above and beyond. These folks are great about making you feel better in a stressful situation. I thank each and every one of them and I apologize for not knowing more names and if I forgot anyone. Anesthesia's a hell of a drug.

He was called back around 540 A.M. Around 5 hours later, we finally had a nurse say that he was in recovery, and that we would be called back shortly. Nurses would not answer questions, and staff at check in desk were very rude. Would recommend if needing surgery to go somewhere else, where staff actually care about their patients and their families.
