Highly recommend SuperiorMed Katy for their PRP treatments and therapy. About 3 years ago, my elderly mother had a weight bearing injury to her spine, which was already suffering from scoliosis and stenosis. I consulted with a top spinal surgeon for an evaluation and he confirmed she was not a candidate for any surgical solution. They had her on opiates and pain killers which did not leave her functional or anyone we recognized and I refused to allow her to face the remainder of her life like that. I began to research Platelet Rich Plasma treatments and discovered that SuperiorMed Katy did them and I concluded this was her best chance for a normal pain-free life so I took the steps to make this happen for her. The staff at SuperiorMed Katy was stellar and always went above and beyond to encourage her and get Mom to a life she could tolerate. After the 6 mos of healing she really has had a normal level of activity for her (and she is still the quickest walker of anyone I know of her age). And we knew she would receive 3-5 Yrs of pain-free days and with her continuing treatments again recently, we expect she will still be comfortable and strong enough to keep up with her personality and outlook on life. We are truly grateful for the solution she has through SuperiorMed Katy and many thanks to Dr Barnwell and his professional staff for all they've done for Mom. read more

these people charge a lot for under average service. They are all about money, do not care about anything else, just money.

They charge an arm and a leg. Literally you'll have to give it to them because that's how much money they're quoting you for. There are other people who do the same stuff where you don't have to sell your first born for. read more

I knew I was in expert hands after consulting with Dr Barnwell. I have suffered back pain, neck pain and was told I had neuropathy. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained procedures and benefits. In addition to Dr Barnwell, I'm seen by Dr Savard and Seth. I just love the care and attention that I get from them. Today was my third visit and I have never felt better. My initial contact was with Laura (Office Assistant) and Sheila (coordinator) whom are very warm and welcoming. The overall experience is top notch. read more

I appreciate the care I have received here. I've been going to a chiropractor for approximately 15 years but stopped going for the past few until I found one closer to my home. They take great care and show concern every time I come in for an appointment or treatment. On my first appointment we went over all my ailments & concerns, they took xrays and scheduled a follow up where they required my wife to attend (an old sales ploy to remove objection or stall) The follow up visit we went over everything especially my main concerns. I am a sales rep so I ask a lot of questions (continuously) what this? Why that? Is there a less expensive way? There are some treatments that my insurance does not cover and I had to pay or arrange financing for but all that was explained. Since all insurance companies are not the same some pay for what others don't I knew exactly what my costs were before I signed on the dotted line. Back to the "wife thing" I probably wouldn't have done the treatments if she wasn't with me, Here's the thing, yes it is costly (not overly) but I saw IMMEDIATE improvements on my major source of pain and discomfort. Funny when that treatment was first explained I thought they were whacked out and completely out of their minds, but that's why they are Doctors an I'm not. As my wife explained to me if you can get back to doing the things you like to do, then what does it matter what your out of pocket costs are? One final TIP this is not one of those office that you have to come in 30 minutes in advance to fill paperwork out they close in the afternoon and open at 3:00 if you come early you will find a locked door. They have to eat too. read more

Dr. Barnwell and his team are incredible. In 2009 I broke a few vertebrae and have had no issues until recently (2023). Dr. Barnwell discovered, after some X-rays, that I had a compression issue in my lower back. In combination with Lora they came up with a comprehensive treatment plan that was specific to me and my needs. I also have an extremely active lifestyle and they were able to make valuable recommendations on how I could stay just as active as I am while staying safe at the same time. Working with Katelynn on my stretches and strengthening exercises has been so smooth and helpful. I have never been a "flexible" person but with her help I have made some HUGE strides in that direction. I initially came in with some really scary nerve pain where it felt like my spine was pinching my spinal cord, 1 month into my 3 month program I am virtually pain free and now working towards setting myself up to avoid this in the future! Major thanks to the team here at Superior Med Katy! read more

I'm a cancer survivor, had radiation on my neck. It's very stiff and sore all the time. I needed to find a really good chiropractic facility that could assist me with all my needs Cornerstone Pain and wellness is definitely the place I need to beat. I woke up one morning with a frozen shoulder and could not move it, the pain was very excruciating. I went in for one treatment and adjustment. The staff worked on me for over two hours, I left there pain-free. I got home and the pain came back, lots of swelling was to be expected . My shoulder was stiff for seven days and I could not sleep in my bed and I lived on anti-inflammatories along with pain meds. Went back in for another treatment. All the pain is gone, and I am having range of motion now. I cannot believe how quick my shoulder is healing from the care that cornerstone pain and wellness has given me. I have found my forever home adjustment family thanks to Seth and the doctors. read more

Thank you Dr. Barnwell & staff for the excellent adjustment today and stretches to help me in between visits!

Very nice people & Katelynn in particular was wonderful. VERY expensive treatment. Be prepared that Insurance is not accepted on most of their "innovate" treatment options. I am still paying off $thousands & still have yet to return after my first/only encounter with "Doctor" Rinkle - wow !?! Mind you I did understand the risk of spending $$thousands on Stem Cell, & did not want surgery on my knees & it was reinforced by the then very sincere "care" manager" that there are really no other options for me - very effective sales. BTW, after many visits - never saw Mr. Barnwell once. Sadly still have the debt & pain - physical & buyers regret & have not been back since but live and learn, right? read more

Dr.Paul Barnwell gives excellent care to his patients. He truly cares about each person and their individual needs.

Awesome!!!! I cant say enough about Dr Barnwell and his staff, they are amazing. I had my first visit and Dr Barnwell took xrays and showed me why I was in such pain. Normally, when I have visited other chiropractors they just adjust you and send you on your way. Not Dr Barnwell, he finds the root of the cause. I had no idea my neck and back had a curve and would have continued just getting massage and stretching which would not of corrected my problem. I feel blessed to have found Dr Barnwell. Horrible service from Jim...I think he is their manager or salesperson. He tries to scare you into treatment with X-rays, he is condescending and arrogant. In fact, when I shared with him that I would have to discuss the almost $5000 treatment plan he proposed with my primary care physician and cardiologist he became disrespectful and accused me of not taking my health seriously. He is worse than a used care salesman - BEWARE!!! read more

Beautiful place but very deceiving. They tell you they take insurance but in reality they do not. I called to schedule an appointment and specifically asked if they take insurance as not many chiropractors do, and was told yes. I scheduled an appointment went in for the visit, even asked when I checked in if they wanted a copy of my insurance card and was told no we will get this in the end. Saw the doctor was excited with a treatment plan. Go to check out and I'm told I owe 200 something dollars for the visit but "we are running an online special for $49. Ohhh hold up, I mentioned the insurance and she said oh no you have to file your own insurance claim, we will help but you have to file it. Please be careful when scheduling an appointment you have to pay for everything out of pocket. And when you do file a claim it's considered out of network. I recommend Reese Chiropractic up the road. She takes insurance and is very honest with treatment and payment. read more
