My son had major tooth decay, which also affected his smile. I was worried that he'd have to undergo sedation, so my pediatrician recommended Dr. Hogan. Dr. Hogan is absolutely wonderful - after X-rays and examinations, he explained what was wrong and why he felt that sedation was necessary, although he does try to avoid that route. He went through every detail on what needed to be done and even offered different alternatives that would be more affordable. The days following my son's scheduled procedure, Dr. Hogan kept in contact with me and provided me reassurance. I was horrified at the thought of something going wrong during the sedation procedure, but Dr. Hogan patiently went through why he would never allow that to happen, let alone ever put my child in danger. On the day of the procedure, we were running late; however the office staff and Dr. Hogan were very kind and understanding. Although I was not allowed to stay with my son during his dental work, I had no problem - given that the entire staff is focused only on my son and needed to concentrate on making sure he has a healthy smile without any complications. The front office was very accommodating; they kept me updated on my son and also broke down all costs and fees to make sure I understood my charge thoroughly. The waiting room is clean and well kept with wonderful kid friendly decor. Once my son was finished, Dr. Hogan and the anesthesiologist sat down with me and answered any of my questions. Dr. Hogan also contacted me later on that evening to check up on my son. I am so incredibly grateful to have Dr. Hogan as my children's dentist. He genuinely cares for the well being of my child. If you're in need of a trustworthy dentist who cares about your child's dental health, I highly recommend Dr. Hogan.

He also gave us the return visit, where he re-attached the implant posts he removed on our last visit, free of charge. He removed the post tops at our request on the last visit so Dad's gums could heal over because we thought we were going to go with traditional dentures on both the top and the bottom. But when one of those spots didn't heal over and we changed our minds to go ahead with the snap off implant denture on the bottom, he reattached Dad's implant post tops, which he saved for us just in case we changed our minds, free of charge. He's a breath of fresh air in a world where doctors and dentists increasingly put their own financial interest before the best interest of their patients. Highly recommend this periodontist.

My wife couldn't make it due to her being admitted back to the hospital for c-section complications so I had to handle this one by myself. Dr. Martinez was very understanding of my situation and handled it gracefully. She explained everything very thoroughly and extremely patient with my newborn (and me lol). The procedure was very quick and Dr. Martinez took the additional time to ensure I was feeding my newborn correctly and things to look out for in the days following post Op. As for payment; the procedure cost $930.00 (as of 8/1/22), and they provide the detailed receipts needed to get reimbursed from your dental plan or medical plan.
