We agreed for a 12pm , Octavio and his men came by 1pm after several calls and messages. He looked at the job ( weeding ) and said $200 we agreed. He then went outside to get his men came in and said finish tomorrow , price cheap or something ( he called the price no one haggled with him ) .... We hired this company after our landscaper stopped showing up. They get 3 stars because they did an excellent job when they came out to do the clean up, granted we did pay them $500 Today was the follow up to begin regular maintenance. Here is what sucked: 1. I had to contact them 4 weeks later. They did not proactively reach out to me. 2. They took a few days to respond but eventually gave me a time slot. 3. They were 2 hours late to the time slot with no communication which would not be a huge deal but considering they only accept cash I had to rush to the bank when they appeared. 4. I got told it would be $80 to maintain my yard. Then I got told $100 and today I got told $150. This is 3x higher than any other landscaper I have had. 5. I got told for the cost today it covered reseeding but it did not and when I explained that wasn't my understanding I got asked "How long have you lived here, you don't reseed yourself"? I asked for an initial quote of landscaping maintenance and a tree removal after $450 I asked for a service of maintenance twice a month not only did not show up and show up randomly but I wasn't getting an invoice as requested had to pay Thru someone else's Zelle account tried to contact company to ask why they are not showing up on the day we agreed upon for maintenance they said they got busy and are changing the day to Monday's once again NO SHOW!!! not only not showing up regularly for the regular twice month service but I requested an invoice 3 times no invoice I would not recommend this company as they charge a large first time service and good luck getting a regular service out of them. Poor communication and not on time. During the initial estimate, they confirmed they would send someone out at 2 pm to provide an estimate. After 2 pm, I reached out via messages to confirm if they were still coming and they informed us they wouldn't be able to come until 4-6 pm. After getting the quote, we scheduled them to come the following Wednesday at 7:30 am to complete the work. I messaged the day before to confirm they were coming with no response, they responded later on Wednesday apologizing that they were busy and couldn't make it and pushed it to the following day. Today they were supposed to come between 10-11 am and have not showed and also have not responded to any messages. If you are looking to actually get work done, don't reach out to this company! Originally gave them a 5-star review, but today is definitely a 1-star. They came out at the beginning of January and did a lot of work for a good price. At that time we negotiated for them to come back and do maintenance for $100/mo (including spraying everything down with weed killer and something to keep the weeds from growing back). When they came out today, Octavio asked for more clean up work in addition to the maintenance and spraying. He asked for $600 for everything, including $300 for an extra area that needed clean up and weed spray to keep weeds from returning. I told him that was a little too much for today and we just wanted to do the original area for $300. That is when he told me that if we didn't do the extra area, the price was $400 for the original area. What?! I asked him why the price went from $300 to 400 if we didn't do the extra area. I reminded him initially it was $100 for the maintenance and spraying the weeds. He said $100 was just for the maintenance and not the spray. Ok, fine, maybe I misunderstood back in January. He then said the price went to $400 for the original area as he was giving us a discount for adding the extra area. We agreed for him to do it all for $600. Then I told him that my accounting department was asking for a W-9, he and Debra (his wife?) got very defensive and told me that nobody in all the time they have been doing business had asked for this. It's a pretty standard tax identification form that can be completed in less than 5 minutes, but they acted like we were asking them for something extreme. I forward the form to the emails they gave me. I came back out an hour later and Octavio and his crew had disappeared without doing anything. I tried calling and emailing and got no response.
