I purchased a 2015 Jaguar F-Type 2021. I have had nothing but disappointment after disappointment. I told Lonnie Jackson, salesman when I test drove the car that it was pulling to the left. He assured me that he would fix it, and it appeared that he did, but driving home (126 miles) I noticed it was doing it again. So we scheduled a time for me to drive back out there to get this problem corrected, again it seemed okay until I got on the interstate and almost home. Then the engine light came on, and they said they would fix that as well but that didn't happen. It appeared all they did was reset it. Also they only had one key fob for me and as part of the deal (I paid for) they would get be another key. Well as of this review I still don't have the key and I have continued to follow up with no key and no repairs. In addition, they totally mishandled the car registration. They sent the paperwork to DMV with the wrong state, which is where all the problems started as far the car registration goes. Well I had to handle that myself as well, and pay for it out of pocket. now I'm trying to get my money ($900) back for that. This whole deal has been a nightmare!
I have since taken the car to Hilton head Jaguar where they tried to help to get the repairs done through the Columbia dealership, and get my key, but they were none responsive to them as well. So I went ahead and made the repairs myself and it cost me over $2,000. The breaks had to be done (reason for pulling left) exhaust system is the reason the engine light stays on, but it was cost prohibitive for me to make the repair. I guess I'll have to continue to drive it with the light on and hope for the best. Stay away from the dealership because they are very dishonest, and non-responsive to customer concerns. read more
