After extensive attempts to resolve the matter directly with the store, I filed a credit card dispute for merchandise not received, and the dispute was resolved in my favor. After reading other reviews on BBB and Houzz, my experience does not appear to be isolated. Multiple delivery dates were discussed and/or confirmed throughout February 2026, but each date passed without delivery. Communication was inconsistent, and many calls, texts, and requests for updates either went unanswered or were met with explanations as to why delivery could not occur as promised. At one point the store acknowledged the delays, apologized, and offered a 20% discount, but the furniture was still not delivered and the discount was never credited. Delays can happen with custom furniture, but customers deserve honest communication, realistic expectations, and follow-through after paying substantial amounts upfront. I encourage potential customers to carefully review all available customer feedback before making a purchase.

It's been critical for us to clear out things we no longer need (or things that we never needed but were bequeath to us)! And of course we found Treasurer After Treasurer there, From kitchen tools... to blankets...to shoes...to jigsaw puzzles... small furniture items... The prices are beyond reasonable, and it feels good to know the money is going to a great cause. Purchased a mattress today!…read more Although we love the mattress, the biggest reason we purchased it was not the quality of the mattress, but the exceptional customer service we received from the owner. We visited several furniture/mattress stores in the Gaylord and Petoskey area. Great Rooms is by far the best place to go if you want to be treated treated like family and get a fair shake. You won't find that service at Art Van or other big box stores. Probably why they're going out of business now... So don't waste your time going elsewhere, just stop in here!
