It's been critical for us to clear out things we no longer need (or things that we never needed but were bequeath to us)! And of course we found Treasurer After Treasurer there, From kitchen tools... to blankets...to shoes...to jigsaw puzzles... small furniture items... The prices are beyond reasonable, and it feels good to know the money is going to a great cause. It's just fun to go here and look around, even if you aren't looking for anything in particular, because there's always something that you can't live without! Yarns that you don't see at every shop but something for every project you would want to make. Notions, bags, a few non-knitting items. Plenty to choose from but not overwhelming. It was just right. I could have sat down and knit all day. They have their own yarn club that is a great souvenir but really a great product. Yarns, choice of patterns, stitch marker all based on local places. Examples were on display in the shop and were gorgeous. A different dyer each month keeps it interesting. The shop owner was friendly and helpful. She directed us to a few local places we didn't have on our itinerary. She greatly enhanced the experience on our vacation. I know this is a long review. This shop is that good. Worth the trip!

I had been looking for a unique upscaled bag made from men's suits, and I fell in love when I saw Baabaazuzu's creation! Not only was it what I was looking for, it is crafted beautifully. My smart phone wasn't being so smart--hence my GPS failed me, but thankfully I called Baabaazuzu and their staff was super friendly with giving me easy directions to their awesome storefront. Once I got to the official Baabaazuzu factory I was overwhelmed by how many beautiful products they create. I've purchased their famous mittens downstate for many gifts (and myself), but had no idea how expansive their green and as they say ; "upcycled" line truly is. After making my purchase, I was lucky to get a cool tour around the facility. I got to see their huge wool piles, beautiful button collection PLUS designers in action!!! :) I felt like I was on a grownup field trip. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone in the Traverse City area; only 30 minutes away from this interactive shopping experience.
