The main disadvantage of this store is they never seem to have all the sizes in stock for any particular item. For instance, one shirt might only come in L and XL, and another color of that shirt might only come in M, so hopefully, you're not too particular on what you want. It also seems to always be selling the same things year after year. I recognized a lot of the merchandise from when I visited last year, and there were no mark-downs in price from what I remember. The store is also insanely cramped inside. It's relatively small, and the shelves are everywhere, so everyone's just squeezing past each other. It took me a good couple minutes to exit, and I didn't even buy anything!

This establishment shamelessly took advantage of him, charging an outrageous $600 for items that would cost no more than $75-$100 at any other reputable shop. My father-in-law, who was traveling with us for a wedding, needed a bow tie and suspenders for a wedding that evening. Instead of being treated with the dignity and respect that any customer deserves, he was exploited like a desperate tourist. He told them that his son was getting married and that he had left his bow tie and suspenders back in Rochester MI. They laughed and joked that it would cost him but insisted he was in good hands. They were not kidding, about it costuhg him. They sold him suspenders that didn't even work with his pants, further highlighting their lack of integrity and customer care. They sold him cuff links that would have been maybe $50-60 at a men's warehouse which were not needed since his shirt had buttons in place already or optional slots for the cuff. They also talked him into buying much more expensive suspenders that didn't even work with his pants. Even as he checked out he nervously asked if the price was serious as it was over $600 and when he was told yes felt pressured into completing the transaction. It's disgraceful to see a business engage in such predatory practices, especially towards an elderly man in his 60s. This isn't just bad business; it's outright robbery. Shame on this store for their unethical behavior. I urge others to steer clear and take their business elsewhere. This store does not deserve your patronage. You guys are DISGUSTING! You should take back the two unused items at the least and he'll keep his $150 bow tie

Three other shops in town, on Front street, carry Kuhl brand clothing and none of them would order the pants for me. I walked in and talked to Joe about ordering them and "No problem!" was the response I got. He ordered them for me on the spot. The next day our flight department, was told to relocate to Florida for the winter a week early. I walked in to talk to Joe about not being in town to pick the pants up and he offered to ship the pants to me, free of charge! Additionally, I spotted a blue Kuhl pullover that I had purchased in grey a few days earlier in another store. I had also asked this store if they could order it for me in blue and got another "No" response so I purchased the grey one. I talked to Joe about this also and he asked if I'd worn it yet which I had not. He said, "Bring it in, I'll exchange yours for a blue one." Again, awesome! Thanks Joe. I've nicknamed this store my upscale souvenir clothing store because it sets itself apart from your typical souvenir clothing store. They only carry clothing btw. They carry more embroidered Charlevoix clothing which I much prefer versus just the stamped decal cheap style. The prices are reasonable and the service has always been excellent. The only problem I had this recent visit was some of the t-shirts and sweatshirts I liked fit bad and came from a third world country which had strange cuts and very boxy styles. Hubby and I still found plenty of clothing to buy in the store regardless. Other than that I would give it 5 stars.
