I haven't had Chinese food in about 3 years, and used to eat it about every month or so. Perhaps I'm just very accustomed to the places I used to eat at, in another state, and just long for what I'm used to expecting/eating. Also, I don't know if this an "Oregon thing", but I've never had Chow Mein with crunchy noodles, so I'm glad the person that took my order made this distinction for me and suggested Lo Mein instead. I realize that when you visit a new restaurant, it's all about learning what you like or don't like, and over time you develop your favorite items to order. However, I get take-out or eat at restaurants far less often than I used to, so when I DO make the effort, I don't want to be disappointed. Overall, I'm happy with the food I received, but there are a few things I will avoid in the future.
