I have purchased two homes from Lisa (2013 and 2020), and undoubtedly will purchase more as my…read morefamily grows and I continue to upgrade. I don't remember how I met her, but I'm so grateful (so so grateful) to have her as an agent on my side. She's incredibly sweet and unassuming, but don't come up against her...she's like a mama bear and looks out for her clients like no other. She reminds me of that Shakespeare quote: "Though she be but little, she is fierce". My second home purchase (both have been in Alexandria) was a SFH seemingly in pretty good shape. Lisa questioned the structural integrity of the home when she looked in the crawl space (YUP, she was down in the crawl space with her flashlight), but I didn't see anything readily apparent to say it was a problem. Well, it's a problem if Lisa says it's a problem. She simply will not allow her clients to purchase a home that might be unsafe. From the electrical panel that seemed a little wonky but functional, to the rotted wood under the water heater that was deemed safe and not at risk of collapse by the inspector, Lisa wasn't having any of it. Master negotiator, she got EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY INSPECTOR ITEMS taken care of by the seller. I couldn't believe it. I was nervous, and shy and would not have asked for half of the 'punch-list' items on the inspector list...suck it up and wait until after closing to fix it would have been my motto, especially in this crazy competitive market. But Lisa stuck up for me; her approach was solid and she was unwavering...right down to re-inspection of the home by a structural engineer hours before closing. When it was all over, the seller's agent was dumbfounded; he had no idea what had hit him. Lisa is what had hit him. Always polite. Exceptionally respectful. Consummate professional. That's Lisa. If I ever heard anyone say a negative thing about her, I'd instantly know their character was flawed. She's just that pleasant to work with and I don't say that lightly. When my mom and stepdad began shopping for a new home in Oklahoma recently, I was saddened that I could not give them Lisa, as she would have been the greatest housewarming gift anyone could receive. I recommend her to everyone I know, from small condo to large family home. If you want someone who is truly looking out for you and dedicatedly on your side in a world filled with narcissistic snowflakes who would take advantage of you at every opportunity then, I promise, you want to rely on Lisa!

Each time I've worked with Missy, she has gone far above and beyond what I expected of her to deliver top shelf service. Most recently, when I happened to see that there was an open house at a property I had long been interested in, I called her out of the blue to ask her if she could help me learn more about it. Within an hour, she had dropped everything to come to the property and check it out herself. She toured the place and talked with the seller's agent to get a feel for the dynamics around the sale. We made a solid offer in a very competitive environment, and the contract was accepted. We've now closed on the property and we couldn't be happier. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly thorough and professional and was always responsive, even in the evenings or on weekends. Every time, my calls were either answered or returned within minutes, as were my emails. Missy attends to every detail of the transaction, and does not let even small things slide. She is an advocate for her clients and does everything she needs to for the sale to go through smoothly, including making sure that I'm organized with what I need to do. She operates with integrity and strength, and also has the wisdom to know which things are worth fighting for in a deal. She is a pleasure to work with.
