Unfortunately, the reality of working with her was far less positive. Many of the promises made early on were not fulfilled. We often had to do our own research to obtain key information necessary for decision-making and we never felt that she was consistently working in our best interests. Judy was not proactive; we had to repeatedly remind her about tasks she was responsible for and push for follow-ups that should have been handled without prompting. She was also forgetful and we frequently found ourselves having to restate the same points as if they had never been discussed before. Her recommended handyman who repainted our house, was unprofessional and careless. He damaged several items, including the bathtub diverter and a handrail and ruined our curtains. We ultimately had to pay for repairs to fix his mistakes. Moreover, he reacted defensively whenever problems with his work were pointed out. On a positive note, her plumber, from BST Mechanical, was professional, reliable, and did excellent work. Another disappointment was the lack of promised communication after closing. We had been told we would receive a follow-up call, but instead learned through the title company that the closing had been finalized. We had completed the e-sign process days earlier because we were out of state. We cannot say with certainty what influenced Judy's approach to us as clients. However, we cannot ignore the question of whether our treatment was shaped, consciously or unconsciously by factors such as our background or perceived circumstances. Whatever the reason, the overall experience was frustrating, stressful and deeply unsatisfying. We are simply relieved that it is over.
