The special curry has plenty in it, the usual standard of chicken, pork, prawns, and such like. Lots of mushrooms too, which I always appreciate. The sauces were perhaps a little thinner than I've had, however, we decided this may be due to having less MSG, so that's a good thing. The chips weren't quite as tasty as some places, but we got a decent feed, and looking at the menu the set meals are actually really good value. We ordered about £16 worth of food, but for £17.50 could have had starters, appetisers, mains and more. Worth checking out. One day I'll stop going for my usual curry, and try branching out to more interesting things, but you know when you want what you know? Yep, that's how it was. And both times I've eaten from here, I've found the food to match up to the surroundings - it wasn't the cheapest Chinese I've ever had, but both times (duck rolls then sweet and sour battered chicken) the food was immense. If it wasn't in such a weird location I'd be there all the time. Perhaps that's a good thing.

Having sampled most of them at one time another, I reckon Ranch to be the best. The reason for this is definitely a combination of many factors. Firstly, the place itself is always clean, and they've made an effort with some cheap and cheerful black and white tiling decor giving the place a friendly, diner style feeling. Secondly, there's often a little kid serving there in the evenings, which just gives the place that brilliant the-whole-family's-involved-so-it-must-be-good feeling. And finally, and most importantly, the pizzas are cheap yet delish, and about a near to a real pizza as you're likely to get from a takeaway join like this.
