This was a great spot for a large group with kids! They have a covered area with tons of seating, which was great since it was raining a little. They also have a playground area for kids. I tried the seasonal peach painkiller and it was delicious! Great peach flavor. Their pizza is delicious. Incredible crust! Perfect amount of crunch and chew. Service was fast and very friendly. The grounds have something for everyone. We were happy to find such a kid friendly place during our visit! read more

Outside of main Traverse City area but we stopped in for pizza and drinks in the way back from Leland and Empire Beach. Service was efficient and although ll digital ordering lacks personal touch the food came out quickly and staff was friendly. Sun was going down so nice time to sit outside and enjoy the live music by a full band. read more

Jacob's Farm - Large outdoor dining gazebo for dining and listening to live music - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

My family and I went apple picking at Jacob's Farm and had a great time! We were able to find some apples, but most of the fruit such as apples, peaches, pears, and cherries was already picked over, so I'd recommend going earlier in the season. It was a little confusing at first since no one was around to guide us, but a kind staff member eventually helped. You pay after picking by Venmo, cash drop box, or at the bar. Just note that if you pay at the bar, tax is added. They had live music while we were there, the pizza smelled amazing, and the cider options at the bar were great. They also have a corn maze, which looked fun, though my husband chickened out thanks to Children of the Corn . Overall, it's a good family spot. Just plan your visit early for the best fruit-picking experience! read more

Great venue if you love being outside with your pup. They had a nice selection of beer on tap and cans. My Fiancé got a vodka, blueberry honey, lemon and lavender cocktail and said it was phenomenal. I got a Terra Firma Red, great beer from a local brewery. We didn't sample the food on this visit, but the people around us were loving on the pizza, which looked amazing, and the rest of the menu looked fantastic as well. My brother and his wife say the food is outstanding as well. Live music on the weekends in a beautiful setting. Don't forget to go through the corn maze when it opens as well. We will definitely make this stop again when we visit up north. read more

Drinks are good even though they are premade on tap. The pizza is solid and the atmosphere is great. I love when they have live music and kids can go play while parents relax. read more

Eat before you come is the story of this establishment. My family went for the opening weekend half off pizza and beer special to watch our cousin play with his band. They ran out of pizza, so we were forced to order overpriced members mark appetizers straight from the frozen aisle of Sam's Club. The boneless buffalo chicken wings were advertised as eight pieces, but we got six wings, no ranch, and paid $16. This was more than a pizza was supposed to cost, but again we couldn't order a pizza if we wanted too. The overall atmosphere was cool, but there was not staff to keep the place clean. We had plates from previous customers at our table during our whole visit. The only thing keeping this from a one star review was the awesome band, Wax. They put on a fantastic show! The staff was also friendly enough, but the management problems are abundant and on display. read more

I really liked Jacob's Farm! We met up with some friends who live nearby. The parking is kind of all over the place on the lawn, but we found a spot easily. They had live music and we opted to sit outside with some shade. Then you can go up to the bar to order drinks, and order food via QR code at your table or at the bar. They have a lot of cocktails on draft, so I tried the blueberry lemonade, which was delicious! Not too sweet, with a great fruity flavor. Nate and I split a pizza, which was pretty good. It had a decent amount of toppings, I could've used more cheese though. This was a really fun place to hang out and catch up with friends. I think they have a lot of fun stuff going on in the fall (corn maze, apple picking, etc.) so I think it would be a great spot in cooler months too. read more

Great spot! We landed here to just catch a game while we were traveling, ended up having food and drinks and were very impressed! We didn't have our kids but would have been a good spot to bring them, or not bring them! Definitely on my list of spots to go back to when in the area! read more

Drinks, food, playground, music, corn maze...what more could you ask for? Great place to take kids as it will keep them busy while you get to enjoy a drink and the beautiful scenery. Service was friendly and you order and pay with the QR code at your table so it's fast and easy to add onto your tab. Parking is limited so get there early or plan to circle the lot. read more

Best ambience, great variety of food, pizza amazing band - kid friendly with a playground - best experience driving to TC from Sleeping bear

What a fun place for all ages! My husband and I visited Jacob's farm to do some apple picking and cider donut eating, and we were not disappointed! We ended up buying 6 donuts and their hot apple cider, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. It looks like they have a lot of delicious alcoholic options and dinner, so we'll definitely be back in the future! The apple orchard was cute! The first 10 or so trees in each row were pretty low on apples (we visited in mid October), but once you got past those, there were TONS of apples to choose from. And they are delicious! There is also a playground and corn maze, so it is fun for the whole family! read more

Ambiance and service were excellent at the concert I attended here yesterday. The food I had was from a food truck/tent so, I don't know that it's representative of the eat's on offer at the farm. This is a super chill place to hang out. There's food and libations, and if you have the chance to attend an event here, don't hesitate. And, don't forget the big spray- if it's summer and sunset. read more

Jacob's Farm - two silos on a farm - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Traverse City, Michigan

I really like Jacob's Farm. However, the cheese pizza we ordered came out in less than five minutes from the time I ordered which means it was already pre made and the bottom was black/burnt. For a $22 Cheese pizza it shouldn't be pre made or overcooked. I didn't say anything as they were closing in 30 minutes. Again, really, really like the farm but this time was disappointing. I'll try it again as I like the atmosphere. read more

Fun fall environment. Skipped the corn maze because $15 per person seemed overpriced. Drinks were great, food was just okay. Apple picking was nice. Surprised they don't offer donuts or apple cider. Overall seems like a "boutique-y" apple orchard, where you dress up and get a cocktail with friends, but would probably go elsewhere for the true apple orchard experience. read more

Happy to have found this amazing place during our last visit to Traverse City! Fun outdoor atmosphere, good music, great food and beverages

With the online ordering system, service is going to be light. You are going to pick up your own food from the kitchen and walk it across a dirt road. It's going to taste like a fifth grader made it. You will have to put your own dishes into bins. Basically you will be your own kitchen staff and they will ask for a tip. And in our case they charged us twice. Would definitely not recommend. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

The setting is great. The drinks are also lovely. The barbecue is bad. The shredded brisket was so dry and overcooked it resembled jerkey. The pizzas were significantly better -- sort of similar to a Pizza Hut or a Papa John's style of pizza. The salad had completely undercooked (hard as a rock) sweet potato in it. Stick to the drinks, maybe a pizza. read more

My friend rented space for her reception. They charged a heap of money just to have us up on a balcony with no service. The balcony wasn't even set up when we arrived. We had to pull tables out ourselves. We waited well over an hour for overpriced pizza. Many people, not just our group were not getting their food. The staff was disorganized and super confused. I blame the owners though. Staff can only work with what they are given. It was a complete shit show. read more

TLDR: bad BBQ, poor property management, decent prices and portions, easy to order Brisket, shredded chicken and pulled pork were all too dry and tough to taste. The restaurant calls it BBQ, but the meat was just basic warming tray leftovers. Didn't try the pizza but the conveyor belt oven was obviously running too hot because the pizzas looked torched. The property has dog poop throughout, but especially in the parking areas - watch your step. My wife was stung by a yellow jacket (not honey bee) on the way out so there is at least one nest near the public areas which the management must not think is a problem. The prices and portions were decent but a large portion of the food was thrown away since it was too tough to chew. read more

We are localish (Petoskey) and our kids play hockey in TC. We had several hours to kill so we headed here to check it out. The corn maze was fun. The larger tractor had been rented out for a wedding so the kids rode in the smaller buckets. My husband and I split a hard cider which was really good. It was very crowded but people clearly enjoy coming here! read more

My family always looks forward to the corn maze each year and top it off with a warm donut. This year, on a 50 degree day, bags of donuts are simply sitting on shelves of the near open air kiosks. We got a bag of cold, tough donuts. Not even worth eating. What a disappointment and waste of money. I won't come back here for a donut. read more
