No frills, easy-going neighborhood pub where everyone feels right at home. The bartenders are great and they have several different beers on draft.

It's difficult to overstate how much better Jacob's Corner Pub is than the previous incarnation, also known as the Panther Pub.. But I'll try. Last night was my first time in and had no idea what to expect. Walking thru the door,I was pleasantly surprised to find a great little neighborhood sports bar. Arriving just in time for trivia, my friends and I took seats at the bar and immediately noticed a cool penny topped bar with several flat screens built right in. Service was good but drinks were better. The menu looked pretty standard but actually exceeded my expectations quite a bit. The steak tip sandwich was perfectly marinated & cooked, and served on my favorite, virgilios bread! My buddy ordered a massive buffalo chicken sandwich with apple smoked bacon and told the owner it was one of the best he's had. The atmosphere had a great energy.. Inviting, laid back and friendly. The crowd was surprisingly diverse too and the new high top seating was a huge improvement.. With great food, dart boards, and plenty of flat screens, this could quickly become my favorite weekday place to chill and get lunch or dinner. Tonight is 25c wing night so ill probably be back in to check it out!

I'm pretty consistent in ordering the athena bowl with rare salmon, and they always get it right (not everyone does!). They also have great wings and burgers. Also great bartenders and servers, and they outdid themselves recently when we ordered takeout, usual fare, and the salmon was overcooked (gasp). When I called them to let them know, not that i really expected them to do anything, it seems the order-taker had erroneously said "well cooked," hence the clear error. They credited us for the entire order, which far exceeded expectation - very classy!! Well played, Rev Kitchen! :)

We went to Boston to get our Global Entry taken care of, and thought why not so here we are. Full restaurant and bar greets us. Indoor, covered and protected outdoor seating. We decided to hang inside. We were seated quickly and quick to get service. Appetizers were delicious and we could have probably been fine with that, but with Gf options and wanting to try more we over ordered. Orders pizza to take out for later. It was good, I wonder if it would have been better fresh out of the oven, which is why it didn't get the 5 star. We will be back great find.

If you're looking for some classy shit, go to, um, anywhere else. Not to say this place isn't clean. A dive bar doesn't mean dirty. It means local, comfortable and a place to get together over some stiff drinks. But I would disagree (previous review) that it isn't for outsiders. I would say outsiders are welcome, as long as you know what you're getting into. No food (aside from popcorn!), but a serious alcohol selection, Keno, a jukebox, and good atmosphere. Don't be a bar snob coming here. As far as the year ago negative review by Robyn: Let's point out some things to anyone that goes anywhere on the North Shore: there are three large colleges within a 15 or less mile radius, with a serious fake ID epidemic and out-of-states are much more of a liability than they are profitable. Bars implement strict policies to avoid this. Good job to the bartender for doing his job. It sucks that it killed your night, but hopefully this will shed some light.

Tucked away on Cabot Street, the bar scores points for its cheap, heavy-handed pours, free popcorn, and surprisingly impressive selection of whiskeys. There are plenty of local characters with thick North Shore accents to keep things entertaining while you wait your turn at the dartboards. However, the "five-star dive bar" label means you have to take the bad with the good: the interior is dark, cramped, and carries a textbook rough-around-the-edges vibe that borders on being an eyesore. The crowd is heavily made up of tightly-knit regulars, which can make it feel a bit exclusive or tough to break into if you are just passing through, and the bare-bones snack food options mean you should probably eat a real meal before you arrive. Ultimately, it is a perfectly average, unapologetic watering hole if you want an affordable beer in a low-key setting, but it is not a destination spot for a night out. Thanks

"It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality" - i picked it because of this quote on the menu, and i forgot how much i used to love p!atd. i thought to myself, "i've heard this before somewhere..." i loved the bread & roasted garlic butter, however on a little cutting board it was difficult not to make a mess. i guess that's part of what makes it "kitchen table." it is the perfect, round sourdough loaf with the most delicious butter. the roasted chicken was prepared flawlessly. juicy and tender inside, and a perfect crispy skin, just wow. i absolutely loved the selection of spring vegetables, along with the sherry sauce; sautéed spinach, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. the mashed potatoes were perfect once i added extra salt, extra pepper & whipped it up with more of that garlic butter to my liking, however it was prepared great. i requested it without bacon butter, how it typically comes prepared, and the garlic butter is a great substitute. everything was impeccable. i travel to boston often just for food, because i find that the food in beverly, as a whole, is just not up to par, even with all of the marketing. kitchen table is different than any other restaurant in beverly, and now i don't have to travel so far to get the most delicious meals! i am honestly blown away by how amazing my meal was, and i highly recommend kitchen table to anyone in the north shore, and i'd even say it's completely worth going out of your way for. whether solo, a romantic or friend date, or with a small or large group, kitchen table is here to serve (one of the best meals you've had in a long time). there were some other ladies at the bar that were extremely hospitable and helpful as well, i didn't catch their names this time. i wanted to take some pictures at the end of my meal, at closing time when it had emptied out, and molly encouraged me to take all the pictures i needed. just fantastic service by all of the staff. i couldn't be happier with my first experience at kitchen table. here's to many more! ambiance: 4.9/5 food: 5/5 drinks: 5/5 service: 5/5 kitchen table: 5/5
