I understand patients need to verify their benefits, but basic information such as whether the office is accepting new patients or participates with a major insurer should be communicated clearly and professionally. This treatment was successful and after a short adjustment period, it became easier to use. In May of 2025, Dr. Rajter prescribed Zepbound. Today, November 3rd, 2025, I've lost in excess of 40 lbs and feel terrific. My A1C level is normal, for the first time in over 20 years. I had a less than ideal time scheduled, but the front desk staff had me to the call back list if anything came up that would work better for me. After getting 2 calls a better time did become available and my appointment was switched. Let me start by saying Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful physician. He was patient and thorough. He listened to my concerns and provided great recommendations. However, my first visit wasn't without some frustration! The wait time was literally killing me. I got to the office at 8:30am, as a new patient I was asked to arrive early for the new patient paperwork. The forms took me about seven minutes to complete, there was a total of six pages. The paperwork could really use an update. The font is tiny and hard to read, even for someone with good vision, and the print quality isn't great. Being that the office already uses an online patient portal, it would more helpful to make the new patient forms digital. After completing my forms, the waiting begun. I saw many patients arriving after me, some new and were called into exam rooms before me. By 9:30 I was finally brought into an exam room where an assistant took some information and set things up for the doctor. Then, more waiting. Dr. Goldstein didn't come in until 10:30. Dr. Goldstein was excellent once he arrived. The scheduling and time management definitely needs improvement. It's hard for working people to take time off and extend wait times like this only adds unnecessary stress.. It would be nice to feel that our time is respected just as much as the doctors. On a positive note, the office itself is very clean. Well kept in the front desk staff is friendly. I will continue to see Dr. Goldstein despite the not so great reviews that have been left. I hope that time management is improved by the time my next appointment comes around.

Sometimes it's hard to get into the office on short notice because he's so darn popular , but once you get an initial visit, the Tele visits are easy in between visits. I fretted so much before meeting him given the nature of my issue but he immediately put me at ease and ultimately fixed the problem with minimal "invasion." Had it required more, I'd have been very comfortable after my initial experience. Also, Christina and Jenny in the office seem to share the same friendly approach and have the ability to put you at ease immediately. For me, this type of medical need is just so personal I can't thank all of them enough. He's listed as a provider under Ambetter so I chose this insurance company. I called today to make an appointment only to be told by an extremely rude member of his staff that they do not accept Ambetter... when I asked why he was listed as a provider, I was told that the corporate group accepts that insurance but he doesn't. I then asked how was I supposed to know that since he shows up as a provider her response was that "I should have called the office... I'll have ro find another dr.! I'm not going that easy...as a radio host it'll be the subject of my shows for the next MONTH! RUDE people have no place in customer service positions! I guess my loyalty to his practice means nothing therefore I'll have no problem trashing it on air! Shame on you Dr. Bates for allowing what you've built to tarnished by corporate mismanagement. Without getting too graphic, part of my healing process was the need for a catheter, first time ever -- in my "male organ" by a hospital emergency room medical staff. The pain and agony I had gone through. The following day I went to see, through a great referral from a surgeon I know, -- Dr Ead at his office. Dr Ead has a confident and assuring demeanor, with a good sense of humor, as well, and simply the magic touch in placing a new catheter in me, and several times thereafter. What a difference!
