Went here to check out some bike options this dealership had for my first bike. Was speaking with a salesman over text about Ninja and pricing options and when I went in he had it where he thought it was a guaranteed sale with license plate, paperwork, etc all printed out which was a lot of pressure. Not to mention, while i was talking with the salesman I mentioned my fiancé (who was with me) was a little upset because im his girl and hes worried about my safety and he said "ya, I can tell. Hes probably insecure/unmasculine because his girl is riding and hes not" which is an absolute WILD thing to say to a customer. I was quoted $6,700 over text and when I got there it went to $8,000 for a $5,700 bike finances. Im aware of fees but this is just outrageous. I gave an extra star due to the lady who runs the financing part of the business and the sales manager, he was really cool. Im not even as upset about the price as much as I am about the comment. You dont talk about your customer's fiance like that at all especially when you're about to sell a bike. That lost the sale for me, I decided to go somewhere else I even reached out to the salesman to thank him for his time (even after that comment) and radio silence. No text back, nothing. Horrible Experience! I had my Kawasaki towed to their location because my bike would not start. I work on St Johns Bluff Rd so they were the closest location. I wish that I had taken a look at their reviews before I had her towed there! The battery was dead and would not hold a charge. They replaced the battery. So, here is the kicker. We took a Can Am Spyder there for tires and front end alignment,on the phone I was quoted $150.00 per for for the three tires and it would take an hour and a half and that included balancing and alignment.We took the bike over there and was quoted something else,the new quote was $600 to mount the tires and that did not include the alignment but there were 3 lights on and it would cost $150.00 to diag the bike.The owner said just mount the tires and do an alignment and that should take care of the light.I was called back by Marshall and was told that they diagnosed for free and it was either a sensor or the power steering pump,I said please mount the tires and do the alignment.When we picked up the bike we started checking the sensors.disconnected the sensor cleaned it and the light went out and the bike drives great.I do not recommend this facility to anyone. read more

So far so good, I've seen a lot of bad reviews for this place but compared to everywhere else I've bought motorcycles this was by far the best experience I've had besides cycles of jacksonville. They gave me almost twice what ride now offered me for my trade in. They had a fair market deal on the zx10r I wanted and it was easy to deal with them. I don't understand how so many people had problems with them. You don't go buy a bike from a dealer for the best deal in town. Don't bother with these jokers. After my experience I can see why they have such low ratings. I saw one of their bikes on Cycle Trader and submitted an inquiry. I got a text the next morning from a salesman there so I tried calling several times and he never picked up or called me back so later in the day I called the business and got another salesman on the phone. He seemed annoyed by having to take the call. I told him which bike I wanted because it had a good price on the website He said there would be additional fees and got back to me with additional fees of $2500!! I thought that was crazy but ok I figured I could do some negotiating. He said he could not get me financed with only $1000 down so I said I can put more down and I raised my cash in the deal to $2000. Well I never heard back from him. This idiot didn't know I was prepared to pay full cash if I got a better deal and now they lost an easy sale. Just a bunch of knuckleheads. Steer clear of this place. read more

I am writing a review today for a friend who is currently working over seas. He asked I post about his miserable experience with this company. This is mostly damage sustained and then denial on the company's part while servicing my friends new jet ski. He purchased a 2018 model sea doo two seater jet ski, brand new, from Jacksonville Powersports off Atlantic Blvd at the beginning of this year. December 30th to be exact as a gift to himself. With his line of work he'd only been home a few weeks and was able to take his jet ski out a handful of times this summer. With this most recent trip to Kingsley Lake in July the engine just died, kaput, while pulling back up to the dock. He was unable to get it started again. The jet ski has only ever been in fresh water and is trailered to and from the lake. It is washed, cleaned and garage kept in between outings. The trailer was also purchased from the same company with a package and warranty deal. My friend has a great work ethic and it carries over to his home life, everything has a place and is well maintained including his newest purchase, the jet ski. After he was able to make an appointment and drop the jet ski off for repair, it sat at the company for over a week, at least that's what we have suspected as seen with the amount of standing water and algae in the foot boards. He was hoping to take it out again before returning to work but he was happy just to have it repaired. He received a call about 2 weeks after dropping it off it was ready for pickup. Unfortunately he had already returned to work over seas and is still there now. But when his father arrived to pickup the jet ski nothing was mentioned about the condition or damage that had taken place while the jet ski was in the company's possession. It had been left uncovered, filled with standing water even algae forming in the footboards, mud splashed across the bottom and sitting on the trailer crooked. My friends father was unaware of the previous pristine condition or even the ins and outs of the jet ski as he was only asked to trailer it back to Middleburg and drop it off at my friends home. When my friends daughter arrived home she was appalled by the condition. After a wash and hand dry before pushing it back into the garage the real damage was more apparent; deep gouges on the bottom, scratches along the top and sides. The markings damaged the graphics and have gone so deep as to expose the white foam under the fiberglass. My friend and his father have been back and forth with the company and several employees; with no real answers as to how the damage occurred. Only that "if an employee damaged anything it would have been reported and nothing was reported to the supervisors. So then nothing could have happened to your jet ski since nothing was reported". They have left us no choice but to repair the damage ourselves, which is ludicrous. He's got hundreds in repairs he will have to have fixed before taking it out again but not before consulting legal action once he's returned to the states. I hope this company will do right by him and fix the damage they have done. Is this how they treat loyal clients and customers? I can see since the jet ski would need to be serviced here they would like to maybe continue the exceptional service my friend received during the purchasing process but he's been sorely mistaken. Unfortunately with how I've seen this company handle their customers, I will not be shopping with them, ever. read more

I want to start by saying the 2 guys who run the parts desk are awesome and very helpful, but that is about all there is good to say about this place. I would not recommend buying from them as they are extremely overpriced on everything and do things in a rather sketchy way. I went in looking to possibly trade in and trade up on my PWC. Asked the salesman on a general ballpark out the door price on a Seadoo RXTX 300 and he said he didn't know but needed to get some of my information and "write it up" I kind of laughed and asked him why he needed my information to give me a general ballpark price. After all, the price of the unit is not dependent on my information and the price theoretically should be constant regardless of who the buyer is. They refused to even throw any sort of general number out there and insisted on me giving them my information so they could "write it up". I told the salesman that there is no reason to write anything up as I'm not interested in doing business with them if they need all of my information to give me just a little idea of what it would run and proceeded to walk out. As I was walking out I was approached by the manager (Byron) who tried to give me the same rigamarole and steamroll me into giving them my information. When I declined and explained to him why I could not understand how the price is dependent on me giving my information, and that at any car dealership the price of the unit is clearly marked on the vehicle itself he began to become very condescending and rude and angrily state to me that "we got processes we gotta follow, whatchu do for work? U got processes you gotta follow to I'm sure" I told him I wasn't interested in dealing with them if he could even provide me a general idea of what the price on a unit would be without "writing it up". I then asked him if he was the manager, how long he worked there and he replied "that don't matter" I said "yeah I guess it doesn't at this point because I have no interest in buying from y'all, goodbye" he continued to get rude and aggressive and told me "you got no idea how dis work". I said "if you're the manager, and have no general idea how much a unit costs without "writing it up" it seems a little shady to me". Long story short, stay away from this place and their shady business practices. Especially the extremely pompous, callous, cocky and arrogant "manager" Byron. He needs to be fired immediately as he is no where near qualified for the title of "manager". It's been a fiasco from Day 1. Called them for a Black Friday deal and wanted covers thrown in (for buying 2 skis and a trailer). They said no, so we said no. Then, within 20 minutes, the salesman says "They're sold" (yeah right). On Cyber Monday, we get a text from the salesman, saying "Good news" the skis are not sold after all (of course). My wife ended buying the skis and trailer despite my wishes. They had a delivery kid bring the skis to our house. Apparently, the salesman was too busy to bring them himself and explain how these skis work. My last ski was a 1997 Polaris so it would have been nice to have been shown all of the features, flush areas etc... On 12/6/17 they ask us to take pics of the VIN numbers for all. We asked the salesman why there were no tie down straps for the rears of the skis. He says only the $4k Triton trailers have loops for tie-downs. That was false because our $1200.00 Sea doo brand trailer has them. It's just a matter of time before they get sued for not supplying rear straps to keep them from bouncing around, IMO. The salesman's response was, "The company doesn't supply straps". I asked them when we would be receiving the REG numbers for the boats, and the salesman says they dont furnish them because 99% of people want to match their skis. I would have been waiting weeks for DMV numbers to arrive if I hadn't inquired. How are consumers supposed to know this??? read more

I want to relate my experience with Jacksonville Powersports for anyone who is thinking about purchasing from them or going there for service. There's no doubt they have some good people working there, but they also have some serious quality control issues. For example: 1.) My ski, a Sea-Doo GTX 260 Limited, was delivered low on oil. When I took it out it would immediately go into limp mode as soon as the throttle was pulled. I brought it back to service several times. Each time I was told they resolved the problem. They never did. The last time it went into limp mode I decided to poke around a little bit in the engine compartment and that's when I noticed it was low on oil. Really low! I added 3 quarts and...problem solved. Altogether they had my brand new ski in the shop for several weeks, yet accomplished nothing. 2.) I took the ski in for a routine oil change and maintenance before going on a trip to the Keys. I put it in the water when we got to Key Largo. It would barely idle and was nearly non-responsive to any throttle input. Needless to say, it ruined our opportunity to ski in the Keys on that trip. I brought it back to the service department upon our return and it turns out the intercooler was leaking. After having that replaced, we headed down to Port St Lucie. Shortly after launching it at the ramp I started hearing a knocking noise, or perhaps it's better described as a thud, coming from the motor. It sounded as if it had a broken motor mount, knocking whenever the throttle was released. Once again, I took it back to Jacksonville Powersports. They checked it out and I was told that everything was fine. And, one more time, they were wrong. Turns out a simple tie down strap was left off after the last service. A little bit of quality control goes a long way towards customer satisfaction. Sea-Doo has enough issues without having dealerships like this adding to them. read more

When you walk in you are not greeted in anyway shape or form. You are lucky if the sales team looks up from their phones and even notices you. The service center staff was much better and did a great job changing my tires. Now, after I left the service center and got back out front I asked the front desk, some older bald idiot up there, if they had balanced my tires? He started scoffing and joking about how they did or didn't, I had to ask him three times in a row while he was talking over me before he'd answer and then even after that continued to berate me about it. It's unfortunate because they have some really nice stuff in there. I will never go back for sure, customer service is important and they just don't believe in that there. read more

So I learned today that the Kawasaki dealer on Atlantic Blvd is, I guess you'd say not caring ?? A hunting friend of ours went in to buy a couple 4 Wheelers for his farm. He and a buddy pulled up in their 4 X 4 hunting truck and upon asking the salesman to look at them, he was told by the salesman he didn't look like he could afford to buy it. So he went to a different dealership and bought 3. Cheaper too after he told the new dealership how Kawasaki treated him. Moving forward to yesterday. My sister went to same Kawasaki Dealership on Atlantic Blvd. after inquiring about the cycle she was interested in, the salesman pointed to a Cycle, said rather Rudely " that's all I have " and promptly walked away dismissing her. She also gladly took herself to another cycle shop, where she found what she wanted and was given a number of discounts after she told that dealership how she was treated at Kawasaki. Took my 2010 Kawasaki Concourse in for new tires and repair of the Tire pressure monitoring system after 2 attempts at other shops in Ohio failed to happen before coming to Florida. The bike ended up having some electrical damage from winter "rodents" and it really gave the service department grief. Mike and Brian were very helpful in relaying the information as the technicians under covered the damages. It was a very challenging fix that could've costed a fortune. I'm great full for all the employees at JAX power sports and their dedication to getting the job done correctly and to my complete satisfaction. Thanks again Keep up the good work. read more

After talking to Marshall, I hope I'm going to be able to give you a good review of my experience next week. I have a 2014 Can-Am Spyder that I bought from them. I'm bringing it in 4 the first service and oil change, I'm also requesting a new battery. I'm just hoping they don't consider me a money machine like a lot of dealerships do. Frankly I'm so disgusted about manufacturers that don't care about their customers and how they're treated from dealers. I will edit this later. I just hope it turns out okay. Marshalls demeanor has me a little concerned, he kept calling me bub. He might be okay, and I'm not saying he's not, but how professional that is, I leave that for you to conjecture. Okay, Marshall was so unprofessional and rude that I decided I would just go get a battery from them and see how Marshall in person would act. I was very friendly with him, and told him that I was studying the manufacturers service manual and was going to do some work myself with the help of YouTube videos from other dealerships that try to help their customers on how to do their own work. Jacksonville Powersports does not do this, I guess because they don't care about their customers the way some do. But Marshall was my main concern, I asked him if I could call him if I got in a bind with my repair work and ask him some questions if I got in a jam. He gave me a rude reply like, we can't be doing that because we have a business to run, I said what if I pay you for the advice, he said they wouldn't be interested in that. So, there you have it. Instead of a culture that wants return customers and a little camaraderie to make their customers feel appreciated, instead it makes me want to sell my bike and not do business with these people all because of Marshall. Of course I have full intentions of writing BRP corporate a certified return receipt letter about how there dealerships treat their customers, for whatever good that will do. Had first major service done on my 2004 ZX12R. I live in NY. Bike had to sit for two weeks until I flew down to ride it back. :) Justin, Marshall and Brian-? in service were extremely pleasant and helpful. Rest of staff were very nice as well. Only negative: Owner refused to do any custom work with the bike or aftermarket parts I had given them. Said he didn't have the time or money to do so - like, that's why you charge your customers more... i.e., to make a profit. WTF?? Anyway, my ride was lovingly cared for until my arrival. One tech even helped me adjust the idle while getting her started. A few days later I literally rode my ZX12R through Joaquin (the hurricane). I crossed so many rivers and lakes (read: fully submerged roads) in SC - ones that trucks wouldn't even dare that I lost count. My bike ran all the way from St. Augustine to NYC; a distance of 978mi - plus an additional 220 mile detour I took to find a way out of SC - so over 1100 miles through rivers, lakes, extreme winds, heavy rain and even stop & go traffic - all without a single hiccup!! How much more of a testament do you possibly need?!! I'll give you the answer: None. If you need or want any work done to your ride you'd be stupid not to go here. Bought a new bike here. 4k miles later after regular 1k maintenance bike broke down. Said they have no idea what it could be. Found part ordered it (said two weeks ended up being almost 3). 80miles later new stator went out. Said they dont warranty them. Had a rear tire put on month prior and wheel was scratched up and wheel was misaligned with one side chain adjuster loose enough to wiggle up and down. Never going back but you might have good luck if they dont judge you first. read more

So the Can am outlander 850, has a dead battery. After running it for 2+ hours and then leaving it off for more than 1 hour it won't start anymore. Have tried charging it with a battery tender but no luck. Seems like the battery is just garbage and not sure what's caused it. Less than 30 miles on the quad. Speaker that they installed on the front rack stopped working before that, maybe it's somehow connected. I think there mechanics aren't trained properly. Also one of the trailer tires blew 2,000 miles into the trip. Good thing I bought a spare from Walmart beforehand even though the size is a bit off I suspected something to go wrong when the tire on one side sat at an angle with the trailer empty on one side. Once tire blew and trailer hit the ground it busted off the ubolt holding leaf spring to the axle. So last several hours I made it to final destination with 2x4's and straps holding the axle in place. Spent all day with this garbage, china made, no good trailer. On the side of the highway. Glad I'm keeping my toys on the west coast now and won't bring another nickel to these scammers. I shouldn't be replacing and fixing every piece of brand new thing I buy, with 0 hrs on the dash, 20 miles on the quad. Trailer can't pull what it's rated for. read more

Long turnaround times (it can be weeks). They do not keep the customer informed. They misdiagnose. Shotgun trouble shooting at the owners expense. Cherry pick easy jobs first. Sometimes they don't perform the task you took it in for and you have to bring it back. I've owned Kawasaki's since the late 60's. If this was the only place to go for service, I'd sell mine and switch to Yamaha. read more

I use these folks strictly for repairs on my Bombardier ATV because they're the only authorized service agent in my area. Never once have a brought my machine in for either repairs or maintenance and had a positive value experience. Nothing really bad, but nothing really good either, The only constant has been the phenomenally high cost each time. My latest "adventure" with Jacksonville Powersports is ongoing right now. I put my ATV in for repairs because it was running rough. I'm thinking it either needs carburetor work or a general tune-up. I was advised it would be approx 1 week. It's now been one MONTH. Two days ago I called and asked why so long. The guy tells me the parts they ordered haven't come in yet. So I politely point out how long its been and could we not find some way to speed up the process? He puts me on hold for about 2 minutes and comes back on the line to say my parts JUST came in! Uh huh. "We'll get this back to you probably tomorrow" he says. Two days have gone by and I haven't heard from them. I am going to make it my business to find SOMEONE other than Jacksonville Powersports to service my machine so help me! read more
