I received exceptional service from Jackson Services recently when they came to do the maintenance on my HVAC.

At my annual inspection Ben brought several things to my attention. He also discussed solutions to include my long term plans for creating ADA spaces. I loved the pictures and estimates for all my choices coming to me in one email! I had time to think it through. When I called, my appointment (months later!) was made for the next day! Ben arrived on time with great "head's up" communications. He got right to work and in no time all my concerns were fixed with quality products. Ben cared so much about not making or leaving any mess! I appreciated that the most! The work was completed as per estimates with NO surprises! I have used Jackson for HVAC in the past and have been extremely pleased. This is the first time using their plumbing service, and I was equally delighted. The Technician was Chris Norris, and he did a great job. Specifically, he was on time, called before arriving, was very clean, and despite having somewhat of a dirty task, kept the crawl space dirt and the house interior totally separate. I am also a technical person, and he described what needed to be done, did it as agreed, and looking at the work afterwards, very nicely done. The was gas line work for a new stove. We had Jackson Services install a Tankless Water Heater and signed up for their annual member discount program. Fast forward, we had a very tiny leak just behind our house that has been going on for a few months. Had a different plumber out here to fix it, they were not able to find the leak so we called a Leak specialist. The specialist came out, found the leak, dug the hole and everything. Jackson Services were called to come out and just fix the small amount of pipe that needed replacing. These people will rape you, beware! We had a lot of rain the day before so the hole filled up with some water. He charged us almost 300.00 to just empty the hole. We could have done that ourselves. Then on top of that services cost us 970.00 which was probably at the most a 300.00 fix and that is being extremely generous. He was here an hour! Since we are members, we were told they waived the 95.00 service fee call and saved 15%. Are you kidding me? Do yourselves a favor and call a different company. These people are insane! We will not be renewing any membership with them and will be going with a different company to service our A/C and plumbing needs. Price gouging is totally ridiculous. read more

This was my first time using Jackson Services and I was really impressed! My hot water heater burst at the seam and was leaking quite a bit. When Jackson Services arrived they had already anticipated that I might be needing a new hot water heater, so they brought a brand new one with them. Had new AC unit installed but smart thermostat would not pair. Jackson responsively got newer upgraded control head and paired instantly. Kudos to Justin Reed, troubleshooter technician for install and taking time to walk me through full functionality of Smart thermostat. Last week when it got really cold and our unit was not working, I called Jackson Services and they told me a technician would come out that day and he would call before he came. Tim Nunnally called and let me know he would be there shortly! When he arrived, he inspected my system and asked for permission before going into my house to check the thermostats. He later called me and explained what the issue was as well as what he did to fix the issue! Tim was very professional and courteous. Jackson installed my system a few years ago and I thought they did a stand up job at a great price so I knew I'd come back if I had any issues. After a diagnosis and a part order from my service tech he managed to get in a wreck sp they sent out a new guy and boy I am glad they did. Turns out it wasn't the part they ordered and I needed a new compressor. Seth was a Rockstar at bot only getting me set straight but explaining and educating me on what was needed. He ordered the part ans knowing it was going to be a long hot weekend came back on a Saturday to keep me cool. Seth and Isaiah were Rockstar on a hot day. I so appreciate that Seth when above and beyond for me. It means more to me then they could possibly know. I will continue to use them for my HVAC needs! read more

I have had a couple encounters with Jackson Services. They installed a tankless water heater, which is, I'm sure everyone knows, not cheap. I paid a couple thousand and went on with life. Well the tankless water heater went down. Called them out and they told me the motherboard is fried. I was told parts would come in Thursday, didn't get parts til next week. Cold showers til then... The parts are under warranty, however, the labor will cost me $360. I'm young so I'm not educated on pricing . Well I've done some good research and I am getting destroyed in pricing! I was over charged for the water heater. I was over charged for the labor. I got an estimate before all that to fix a tub leak and got quoted over $1,600!!!! I'm in LAGRANGE!!! I can walk to there building. A company quoted me hundreds less and they are 45 mins away. Do business with out-of-town companies. You'll be surprised how much you can save. had them replace toilet and fix a drain. replaced another toilet with Bass plumbing and they did it in less than an hour for $170. these people charged me $375 for the toilet and almost $1k for the entire job, took them more than 4-5 hours. I would never use them again nor would I recommend them knowing how much i was ripped off. read more

Ripoff artists. Scammers. Thieves. I have a sewer pipe outside of my house. This pipe has a pair of cleanouts on it, both missing their caps from the previous owner sabotaging this place (foreclosure bought home). One is a 6 inch pipe, all it needed was a female cleanout cap popped into the coupler that is already there. I went to Home Depot and got that myself after calling these scammers. Took me 5 minutes of prepping, cleaning the inner surface, slathering it in PVC Cement, and popping in the cap. That one is done. I called these pirates BEFORE doing that part myself to see how much it would cost for them to come out and fix the two issues. Issue number 2 is a bit more complex. The other cleanout is a 4 inch PVC pipe, about 1.5 - 2 feet long/deep in the ground, and is cracked from top to bottom... which means digging... which apparently costs this company $100 an hour or something to do the digging... ... because they wanted to charge me $800+ !!!!!!!! ARE YOU INSANE???!!! I understand digging is hard work and all, but it does NOT take 15 hours, and there is NO way your technicians are getting paid a super high amount of money to do this job. Beware - Our heat pump froze over during cold snap. Jackson technician told me I had a freon leak and there was none left in the lines. Said I needed a new heat pump at a cost of $7700. Had Four Seasons HVAC from Lanett give me a second opinion and he said I had no leak and there was plenty of freon in the heat pump. Curious???? He found that the board that controls the defrost cycle was bad. Cost for board was $400 instead of paying $7700 for a new system I didn't need. Recommend you get a second opinion if this company tells you that you need a new system read more

We had them install a sink new hardware and a garbage disposal, more than $600. Had to call them back out because the garbage disposal wouldn't work right. They looked at it and said everything was fine. It wasn't. After a couple of months, I took it apart myself, and found that the drain line from the sink was 2" too long. It stuck into the drain line past the 'T" blocking the "T" entirely. Took 2" off the pipe, put it back together, now have no problems. read more

Although the telephone rep and technician seemed courteous, they are extremely over priced in their services! They charge $80 just to give an estimate for their work! Reputable places will give you free estimates! I had another company do my services and saved several hundred dollars! read more
