We rented 1BR suite 1st week in May, 2026. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It was a pleasure to be treated as a valued guest!. Skye was amazing even before we arrived at the Inn, when I called to inquire about the accommodation, amenities and tips in the area; she made us feel welcomed already and excited about our trip. Starting with our late arrival on 5/1st because of traffic delays, Rafael and Michelle welcomed us as the check-in and Michele showed us the parking garage, helped us with the luggage cart and showed us how things work in the our suite (absolutely perfect service from both of them))! During our stay Skye proved to be amazing! Anything we needed was promptly addressed and taken care of! The remaining staff we met were professional as well, friendly and welcoming: Nikky, Steven and Susan, who is in charge of the breakfast were always pleasant and attentive. The accommodations itself was beautiful, clean, renovated and comfortable; I especially appreciated the fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with very good quality cookware, utensils, full size fridge and electric hot pot for boiling water for tea. Still too cold to use the balcony but the pretty Valley view made up for it! TV in each room lots, of electric outlets and one of the 2 bath tubs had jets which we didn't use enjoying the heated indoor whirlpool. The tavern was closed but we didn't mind as we rented after the season an we enjoyed the peaceful week! The breakfast was served every day and included which was helpful and appreciated. A separate beverage station offered all day and evenings excellent coffee, teas, cappuccino, latte and hot chocolate as well as sparkling and flavored waters. While we selected this hotel for the proximity to the ski lift, we were severely disappointed with everything else. Upon arriving at the hotel, there was a mix up with the room. The hotel staff apologized and explained that this happens often and we would be compensated accordingly for this issue. While traveling with my father, we needed two separate beds. However, the hotel was sold out and there was only one "queen" bed available. The staff attempted to find another available room, however, they were not able to. In an attempt to mitigate this issue their only solution was to provide us with an air mattress. Not a pull-out couch, not a roll away, not a portable twin bed, not a cot. An air mattress. I didn't realize that I paid an arm and a leg to sleep on an air mattress. As a business in the hospitality industry, it is unacceptable for them to not have a better option for paying guests. When we finally arrived in the only room that was available, the room was dirty. There was dust everywhere, as if it hadn't been cleaned. Furthermore, the queen bed was actually a full-sized bed. Then when the staff finally brought the air mattress and a mini fridge to the room, it was missing parts, and they weren't willing to even try to help. I had to ask for their help. It further demonstrated a lack of professionalism and communication with the staff. The next morning, I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms and ended up by chance speaking with the manager, Carly. Carly informed us that we would be able to switch our room and the staff would transfer our bags while we were skiing. After a day of skiing and getting a new room key, we discovered that our bags were not transferred for us. In fact, we had to transfer our bags ourselves. Upon returning the trolly back to the front desk, I saw Carly and informed her of my disappointment with the customer service. The next day while we were checking out (with a new staff member), the manager said quietly that she needed to adjust our bill. However, it has now been weeks and I have yet to see an adjusted bill or credit to my credit card. This hotel staff at Jackson Gore Inn is full of promises that they don't follow through with. In the past, we stayed in Switzerland during ski season paying a similar rate as we paid here and the customer service was night and day. In Switzerland, they were quickly able to separate a king bed into two separate twin beds, they transported our bags to our room without issue, provided additional transportation, maintained a clean environment. read more

They check your skis which was awesome. I'll definitely be back. So relaxing and perfect spot for the lift. read more

We had such a great weekend here with our family of four we managed two nights in a studio with a queen and a pullout couch (was comfortable enough but a bit much for more than a couple nights) . I appreciated that the room had plenty of very clean and very new cookware. Everything we needed to make meals right in the room. The room was clean and overlooked the outdoor pool, we enjoyed the view and people watching. The kids LOVED the pools. Mom loved having the choice of an indoor pool after being a little too cold after a day of skiing to do it outside. We ate at the hotel restaurant. It is a bit fancy for the kids and at that price point as well but did the trick when we just wanted to stay there and not drive in town. We loved the proximity to the ski school and rentals as well. They really make it so simple with kids. One stop shop. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and very accommodating. We will be back for sure read more

Beautiful location. The room is clean and comfortable. The inn has many amenities with a tavern and bar in the lobby. There is an arcade on the first floor, an indoor and outdoor pool, an adventure zone for the younger kids ( trampoline, putt putt golf , bungee jumping , rock wall , mountain coaster ride and more . You pay a bunch for this place and they do not have enough parking. I was told I need to park in the general sking parking lot and walk about 15 minutes back. WTF. Second, I asked to get my room cleaned and beds made. They said we don't provide daily cleaning. Your call whether this place is worth the money. The bar is great but the line to get a drink or food is absurd. Bottom line is I will come back here as great on mountain location, staff is generally nice and restaurant is very good and pleasant. read more

Was lucky enough to be with a friend who won a long weekend in a two bedroom with fireplace, and since it was free we figured a girls weekend was in order. It was also Labor Day weekend as well so we got to experience this area in Summer. First off, the facilities were very clean and well laid out. The front reception staff was semi helpful when it came to when our room would be ready but I could tell their patience could easily run thin with too many inquiries. So I grabbed a drink from the bar ($18!) and we sat outside and waited in the rocking chairs. It was a nice day so we had no complaints at this point but definitely started to realize that it was more of a family resort. And since we didn't have any kids, we resigned ourselves to just a lot of relaxation and reading. We visited the pool (outdoor) which is very nice and spent some time in the hot tubs. We had dinner one night at the downstairs restaurant which was pretty good albeit not cheap. And we spent the other days checking out the local towns and restaurants. But definitely in the summer with no family, you've got 3 days tops till boredom starts to set in. There was a summer concert series that we caught one night in the main grassy area and that was really fun. Lots of folks with lawn chairs and blankets set up, various people dancing and eating from one of the food stations. We surprised ourselves with how much fun we had even with no kids! I'm sure this place is amazing in winter with easy access to the slopes and probably the better time to come. Summer in Vermont is peaceful and slow paced but if that's what you're after, you'll find it here. read more

BUYER BE WARE! This location was formally independently owned NOW is is owned by a large corporate company Vail Resorts. That being said they are not accommodating at all!! Their cancellation policy which used to be 20 days is NOW 45 days. We tried to cancel 40 days prior and they are keeping the ENTIRE balance, over $1200 which is ridiculous! Unfortunately life happens and our children have an unexpected sporting for the said weekend. I spoke to a Colleen Wright at the location she was very nice, I explained we understand if there is a fee or we would be willing to accept a credit and all she could do was forward my email to Alex Hinkel, Director of Reservations. That email has be unanswered and when I emailed Alex directly there was no response! Our families are all Epic card holders, we frequent both Okemo and Mount Snow for YEARS and this is how we are being treated..... read more

A good stay if you get a good deal. It's majorly convenient if you're spending all your time on the mountain. The rooms are nice, it's super family oriented, and the amenities (pool, hot tub, etc.) are a good touch. The staff was great while checking in but checking out knocked two stars off this review. We wanted to leave our bags behind the Check in desk for a couple hours like we'd done while checking in, but since we were no longer customers/providing business to them they didn't let us. Instead we had to get dressed for the mountain, get our car, pack the car with all the stuff we were later going to change into, park the car again, spend some time on the mountain, get the car back to the lobby, change and leave. Super inconvenient and no reason we couldn't leave 4 small backpacks for a couple hours like we did checking in, but oh well didn't ruin the trip read more

This is our 4th year here. Great place for the kids and oh so convenient for ski-in ski-out. Decent gym with new machines this year - will try a class tomorrow. Access to pool which kids enjoy. The lodge gets over crowded with people who aren't staying at the Inn or its properties. I did notice at check-in the family next to us received coupons and offers but that was not offered to us. Also ski school employees don't seem to be familiar with the property. The customer in front of me asked where to go to check in their skis and both employees didn't know. Rooms are just your standard room. The studios have beds and pull-out couch. The rooms with the Murphy bed seems larger than the rooms with regular beds. The heating is quite loud and at 1:00am snow plows are outside beeping! All in all, this place is familiar and we enjoy it as a family so we will probably be back next year. read more

The curtains don't close up (you need a clip of sorts to keep it "Private" from the outside. 5. Pillows are to hard (my neck was stiff right after) 6. TV's too small 7. $14.00 fee (per day) to use the amenities on site (pool, health club, etc) one would think everything is included in the price ( 8. High sales tax 9. No maid service sign (no maid service) and only got this when we checked in? 10. (Knowledgeable staff) didn't tell me about the hot tubs behind my building (not the one that's in all the photos a long walk) 11. When I asked for my bill they said they will email it to me? (Called 7 different phone numbers) the last 2 got sent to guest services (no one home ) called again and they finally asked for my email which got me mad because they have it. Left at 9:30 am and got home 6 hours later (Still no bill) there so big that they just don't give a crap. The only people that were nice was all the wait staff and the cleaning crew. Alright, overall very nice restaurant for lunch and dinner (no breakfast) and very helpfull employees. A perfect place for a family with a grand area of ski school and begginner and intermediate trails. Now, the problems are "being welcomed by a mean employee to tell you how to park your car while getting checked in" then getting your key cards with warnings of "please, do not keep it with your iphone or your credit cards and even if you have a Tesla!!!". Seriously, we left key cards in the room and they did not work the next day. The Jackson Gore Inn is overall very new and clean establishment. However, lacking of signage within the facility!!!!!!!!!! The information desk fails to provide the details of how to navigate your arrival including wher le you drop of your luggage/ski gear, where the guest ski lockers and more... Again, overall the lodging, the lifts, the trails are perfect for a family as long as you have patience to figure out your way around it. read more

The staff here are incompetent trash, and ruin the good things about the location. I got married here. Several of the guests didn't receive their gift bags. No one's room was ready on time. The event coordinator was unhelpful and rude. My shoes vanished out of my room. My sister's credit card and ID vanished out of her room. No effort was made to recover the items. My sister was told she had to wait several days. For her credit card and ID. My shoes are size 13, easy to spot in a tiny room. The only explanation is they were stolen. On my wedding night, my wife got trapped in an elevator. She is claustrophobic and was having a bad time. Rather then make any effort to help, 2 security guards and 1 front desk woman (who I am certain is from Hell), knocked on the door and told her to keep it down. They informed us it would be 30 minutes for someone to come look at it. I asked them to open the door. They refused and I lost my temper. They threatened to call the police, but before that stupidity could occur, my wife and I managed to open the door by ourselves by hand, by pulling from both sides of the door. No apologies were made. It seems like no one employed there has any business working with people. I can reccomend this place to absolutely no one, for any reason at all. Go literally anywhere else and you will be treated better. Exception was Chriis. You were great. read more

I recently stayed at the Inn while skiing Okemo. Found it hard to believe that a class organization like Vail Associates could allow a poorly, rundown, hotel, to be associated with it. The mountain was exceptional in every way. Great staff, conditions, and pretty much perfect for skiing. The hotel rooms, at $450 a night, were the equivalent of a red roof in, but a better location. Our beds were fine but that's about it. Our bathroom had one light over the tub working, but all three others were out. The light switch was completely broken off the wall. The shower was like something out of a college dorm. Ripped up shower curtain that couldn't even keep the water inside. No shampoo either. There was no trash can in the room. That was a first for me. The TV was the size of a computer monitor. There was a sign for vending machines on the floor as we tried to find some bottled water at the end of the ski day but they only had Coke and Pepsi. Not even a diet option. Was like we were in the 1950's. They had two hot tubs with a beautiful view of the mountain to soak your bones at the end of a ski day, but they were so dirty you didn't even want to get in. The one bright side was the lobby bar and wonderful fireplace to chill by. We were there on on a Monday and it was relatively empty so we went to the restaurant in the hotel for dinner. Approximately 70% of the place was empty. They said they couldnt seat us for 30 minutes due to a lack of staffing but would txt us in the bar when our table was ready. An hour later, still no txt. We eventually just ordered a burger at the bar and called it a day. Was such a bummer experience after having an excellent day on a great mountain. I've been to numerous Vail Associate run facilities in the past and they have been fantastic in every way. Something tells me they don't know what's going on at this place. Hopefully changes are made and the hotel is brought into the 22nd century. Too much potential to let it remain like this. read more

After we checked in to this hotel for our reservation, we were not indicated that our room was in a complete different building and were given no direction as to where our room was. After lugging our bags in the snow to a different building we finally find our room. Soon entering our room we are given a suite (when we made the reservation for one king room) , and the room was lived in. The beds were unmade and towels were on the floor of the bathroom. Almost as if someone had just left the room. To send us into a used, uncleaned room in the midst of a pandemic is disgusting. After lugging our bags back into the car, driving back to the main building and discussing with the front desk this "mistake", we were not offered any compensation for being sent into a lived in room. We stayed here for two nights during the week over the summer. The hotel itself was very clean and remarkable to look at during the drive up the hill. Their gift shop is a little expensive but the employees working there were all very personable. Our room was a little tight but it was clean with no stains, dust, or disheveled blankets. The shower was also refreshing with a good amount of pressure. We lounged by the pool outside and it provided enough ample space that despite the guests around us, it felt very spacious. Everything was exceptionally clean. My husband and I took a walk around the resort at night and were surprised to hear coyotes howling in the distance. It was a very cool experience. The main drive in staying here was their adventure zone which did not disappoint. The tickets included a chair lift up the mountain which was breathtaking. I cannot tell you how cool it was to have a mini theme park in our backyard! The price to stay at the hotel itself was affordable and we would come here again in a heartbeat. Stayed here for a few nights while we went skiing. We were disappointed with our stay. Especially for how expensive it is. The room itself was fine but the coffee maker was pretty dirty. I did like that there was a large closet and many drawers to store all our stuff. I also liked the toiletries they had in the bathroom. My boyfriend and I needed to do work while we were staying here and the wifi wasn't working in our building. The staff didn't seem to care when we mentioned it multiple times. I think that is unacceptable. They should have offered another room or discount. Parking is not close to the buildings and when its freezing outside the last thing you want to do is lug all your luggage up a hill. It was nice being able to ski right up the the ski lift and the hot tub outside the building was enjoyable. We were also disappointed because there are not many food options. We had to drive to get food most nights because we stayed during the week. On the weekends more options are available but they were all more formal and the last thing I want to do after skiing all day is get dressed up to go to dinner. I would not recommend. You can get a better deal just down the road from the slopes. read more

Poorly Managed My wife and I spent 3-day weekend there for skiing. There were numerous issues and the staff was unconcerned. Most annoying was the noise from the hallways and next room. Common areas in lobby and bar were a disgusting mess and completely overtaken by unsupervised children (including in bar!). We joined some friends at the Jackson Gore Inn for a week in August. It's a great location and we found plenty to do in the area. The Property is nice with a restaurant and pool . The rooms are nice with good air conditioning which came in handy on a warm week in August. The town of Ludlow is close with a grocery store and several nice restaurants. I recently stayed 2 nights at Jackson Gore Inn. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with my husband, 2 kids and my parents. There was a dining area, kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The suite was very clean and spacious and fit all of our needs for the weekend. We also attended my brother-in-law's wedding held on the Inn's grounds. The ceremony was at the top of the mountain. The whole wedding was beautiful and run very smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Okemo has worked hard to increase the quality of the Coleman Brook Tavern but still has some work to do. The entree combinations are still not quite right. I had a cashew chicken but instead of pairing it with rice as you might have expected it was with cheddar scalloped potatoes. There are better places in Ludlow. read more

We stayed this past weekend and the overall experience was not good. Bed was unmade and literally looked like someone just got out of it.. this was after checking in and being told our "room was not ready yet" so we waited to go up for a few hours. We then found dirty mirrors, garbage left in the room and a variety of other issues. Major complaint was having my vehicle vandalized, paint scratched and the management acting like they could care less. After a face to face discussion and phone calls, they made zero effort to compensate for the fact that our vehicle was damaged (intentionally) while in their gated underground parking lot. Not even a desire to look into who did it, just dismissed our concerns completely. After spending that kind of $$$ on a room there for have that happen AND find our room in the condition it was in... we will not return. Very disappointed! read more

My stepdaughter had her wedding at Jackson Gore Inn in the Roundhouse. Ceremony was at church in town. Reception was in the Roundhouse, an area for day skiers in winter but a good sized function area in summer. It was lovely. The staff did a really good job. Hats off to banquet manager Terry Fortuna, who worked tirelessly to be sure that the reception went smoothly. Feeding 165 people all at one time is very challenging. The dance floor was big enough, there were lights on the tree branches. Our florist worked with their staff well. There were to be 2 more weddings there over this past weekend. As we were getting all the stuff out, they were cleaning and getting set up for the next wedding, like a well oiled machine. I was amazed. My family all stayed at Jackson Gore Inn. Most of the groom's family did also. I did not have to worry about people driving around town. My brothers and their families stayed another day to go to Adventure zone, which was very popular with their kids. I liked my one bedroom a lot. Wr.cill probably go stay there this winter, enjoyed it that much! Would strongly recommend if you book your wedding reception here, to go to the menu tasting event. Jackson Gore Inn is a great slope-side place to stay at Okemo. I've stayed there many times over the years and never been unhappy with my experience. The 3 buildings at the Jackson Gore base, which includes the Inn, are the newest at Okemo. Everything needed for a ski vacation is right there. Parking is conveniently located underground below each building, so you won't freeze when unloading and loading your car. And you don't have to clean off snow. Ski and board rental is also in the main Inn building. So is the indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi. One of the best deals is the ski and stay package, which includes lift tickets at a discount. Generally the rooms are clean and nice. It's not the Four Seasons, but unless you are willing to pay upwards of a grand a night for the Stein Eriksen Lodge at Deer Valley, no ski resort is particularly luxurious. And Jackson Gore is better than most. So I gladly recommend it. read more

My Fiance and I have been coming to Jackson Gore for the past two years. Book before November 1 and receive discount off room. The staff is always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. It can be busy at times during check in but that's expected. I recommend the Executive Inn Suite or Studio Suite. My recent stay I had asked for the same room I had last year which was Executive Inn Suite. When we got to our room it was a small 2 double bed room, not the suite. Since I had planned this trip 5 months in advance and just drove 5 hours I was not happy. I called down to the front desk and spoke with Derek. He stressed they were at capacity but would call me back. He called back 5 minutes later and upgraded us to a Studio Suite with a fireplace and kitchenette. We were very happy. Throughout the stay Derek was very helpful. Dinning at Jackson Gore is not cheap. Food is really good but certainly not the best I've ever had. The over sized seats in the dining room are a plus. Staff is friendly and quick. The lobby bar gets busy at times but the bartenders are fast and friendly and the taps are very cold. You can take your drink over to the lobby fireplace which is nice. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi are amazing. The massage at The Spa is well worth every penny. read more

This place is terrible. The service is beyond awful. It's clear that the staff either has not been trained or just poorly trained. Sadly and not surprisingly this experience was consistent as our discussions went up the food chain. The staff was rude and dismissive. When brought to management's attention after spending 4 nights with 4 kids in a 2br+1loft we were given more run around and offered 1 midweek night (again, 4 young kids in school). COVID is not an excuse for poorly trained staff and tone deaf management. read more

Good place for Apres Ski. Outdoor there are several wrought iron tables and chairs, as well as a fire pit with wooden Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Indoor the bar features a handful of beers on tap - Long Trail, Harpoon IPA, Labatt's Blue and a couple others. Lots of couches, chairs, tables, etc. to warm up on while enjoying a beverage. The bartender will ask if you are staying or going outside so they know to give you a plastic cup. I'd also like to compliment the resort for serving their beverages in eco-friendly biodegradable corn starch cups. Way to go! read more

Complacency from management and poor customer service. As you will read of others experiences here, this resort is like going to a nice dinner and buying a crappy bottle of wine. Whoever built the resort was thoughtful about the quality of the grounds, and then made a huge mistake in hiring inexperienced customer service individuals with seemingly no education in hospitality. If they did have an education, they either don't care or they should ask for their money back. My wife and I found $130 in an unmarked envelope outside of our hotel room, we went downstairs to inform the staff, as there was a wedding occurring that night and we figured someone had dropped it on their way to the event. We decided to inform the hotel and ask that they call us directly if anyone came to claim it so we could ensure the money was returned to it's rightful owner (keep in mind if we wanted to keep it we would not have gone downstairs to tell anyone about it). Instead of being met with a thank you from the concierge, Elizabeth, who I think eats kittens and puppies for breakfast. She went on to make us feel horrible about not handing the money over to her, and went on to say "well they are our guest and it is probably payment for one of "our" vendors (forgive me Elizabeth if we don't trust you, your response is exactly why we did not want to leave it with you). We were treated like thieves instead of concerned guests who wanted to help someone have a better day and experience at "your" hotel. We were not treated as "your" guests. After shaking her head in disgust she agreed to our terms and took our room number and telephone number. In only a few minutes we received a call in our room from a man named Ross. On the call the man said to me, "Hi, I think you found "my" envelope with money in it". When we went down to return the money to the owner, we approached a man at the front desk. I asked, "are you Ross", the man said no, only to be interrupted by someone from the hotel saying, oh "I'm Ross"...Ross, the night manager proceeded to explain a shaky story about how one of the bridesmaids dropped the envelope and he would return it to her, at this point my wife and I wanted to just get back to our vacation so we handed over the money. I told Ross about how we were treated moments earlier by one of his staff, to which he responded "I can't speak for their behavior I wasn't there", but he was sure to let us know "we did the right thing"...thanks Ross, you're a hell of a guy. Other than the awesome front desk services, our toilet seat was broken which was really pleasant because every time you sat down it pinched your skin and we were pleasantly surprised to come back to our room to find "fresh" towels that had black stains all over them like they were dropped in the dirt. After a few invites with friends, we finally were able to make the trip and enjoy this beautiful place. The rooms were clean, large, and offered a full kitchen, and there's a parking garage for guests. The spaces were a little tight, but we weren't heading out often. Lovely grounds, cozy bar, fun adventure zone and great amenities including a very inviting pool and hot tubs. Can only imagine how magnificent the views are during fall and winter. read more

Large resort at the base of the Jackson Gore area of Okemo. We stayed there for two nights in August for a wedding. We were in a room with a queen bed, pull out couch, kitchenette and an eclectic fireplace. The room overlooked the back of the hotel. In the winter this is a great ski in ski out location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Furnishings were sparse - only 3 drawers to put items away and one small closet. Bathroom was ok. One sink. I couldn't imagine staying in this room during a ski week with kids. Too small. Maybe I'm spoiled. Adventure park out back looked great for older kids and adults - we didn't partake in that due to bad weather. Tap room restaurant downstairs was fair at best. Spa shouldn't be called a spa. The masseuses were great but the whole experience was awful. A dirty locker room (with lockers that don't even lock!). Crappy robes. No slippers. It's just not a true spa experience. read more

I give the Siena restaurant a 1/5. Here's why. The linguini and meatballs took over an hour to come out. This is a simple dish that should only take a couple minutes to prepare. The service wasn't all that great either. Prime Rib also came out late and undercooked. I was also surprised to hear that they ran out of butter for the bread. It was not that busy of a night either. The chicken on the Caesar salad was dry and chewy. Overall just a bad experience. read more

My best friend and I decided to have a girls weekend away and to do things that our darling boyfriends would not like to do willingly (IE. shopping for antiques and other such novelties). When we finally decided to take a trip up to Vermont to go to the Vermont Country Store the next order of business was to figure out where to stay. Neither of us have ever skied in our entire lives so the reviews of lodges escaped our mental comprehension and the charming little cottage like motels were just too far away. Then after a night of brainstorming, googling, and wine, we found this place on-line and it looked pretty nice. I will admit that I was hesitant about the price (a little over $200 for a room with two queen beds, in October, not necessarily skiing season) but the fact that there was an indoor/outdoor pool, outside hot tubs, inside hot tubs, a sauna, a steam room, a fire pit, and free underground parking swayed me to say yes. It is right off of route 103 and tucked up at the base of a ski hill. It is huge and beautiful. When you drive up their winding drive you go past their helicopter landing area, which I have to say was rather impressive. Check in was easy and the clerk at the counter was very helpful and friendly without seeming too saccharine, which is a plus in his favor. I should mention before I go too much further in this review that there was a large wedding happening that weekend and I have the feeling that my friend and I were a few of the only guests that weren't a part of it. Alright, check-in finished we then parked the car in the free with stay underground garage which was so clean and easy to drive in that I was shocked, but being from Boston I really shouldn't be shocked that there are places that are cleaner and more spacious than our parking garages. Anyway, we then took the elevator to the top floor (4th) and found our room. In all honesty it was underwhelming. Rather small and cramped with an older television that just did not fit in the chest of drawers TV holder thing. The view was spectacular, so that made up a little of the meh feeling I got when I first saw the room. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of extra pillow in the closet. I am one of those people that need about thirty pillows before I am comfortable, no matter what, so I was happy about the extra pillows. After we found our rooms and got settled in we decided to go to the pool area before it closed. For such a large place it is very welled signed and it was fairly easy to find but we did have to call the front desk to figure out where the "south elevator" was in coordination with our room. The pool area was clean and tidy and awesome. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the steam room and sauna without their parents right there next to them, a fact that I personally loved because it meant that if we were in there we would not have to deal with children (yay!) but over all there were not many people there beside us so we didn't really have to worry about it. The indoor/outdoor heated pool was the perfect temperature, not too hot not too cold, and the hot tubs were great too. The locker rooms were spotless and we found out in the morning that their showers had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in pump bottles. Not crappy stuff either; the good stuff. They also had the huge dish like shower heads that you could adjust the water pressure on and a roll of plastic bags (very reminiscent of the produce section of your local supermarket) for your wet suit. Everything thought of for you. Over all I had a great time here and everyone was very nice. The only reason why this is a four star review and not a five star is the room. For $200 in the off season I want more than a glorified closet with an old TV, but it served its purpose and we didn't spend much waking time in there anyway there was just too much other stuff to do. read more

Great family destination (but pricy) and not too far from New York. The skiing was perfect for my level-GREEN for life and you can't beat the location. The lift was practically at the door. We picked this location based on the New Years Eve festivities and it was well worth it. As you can imagine, it was very busy and getting some attention at the bar was almost impossible but overall the outdoor hot tub and New Years fireworks made up for it. The ski staff and the bell staff were very good. They provided some great recommendations for local restaurants- which I strongly recommend. Regarding the wait and hotel staff, they were very friendly but most seemed to have been hired that day. I squeezed in a massage after some time on the slope but the therapist must have been a former wrestler because my shoulder still hurts. I suggest saving the money for a day at the spa. We took the shuttle to the clock tower side but the return shuttle was clearly not working off the schedule leading to a long wait. One other issue we experienced, we prepaid for a wine and paint night that was cancelled and it took several weeks before we received a refund. Overall, we made the best of it and had a great time. One last plug, the bartender by the clock tower side was really good. read more

This was our second trip to Okemo and it was underwhelming at best. Sienna and Coleman Brook Tavern were both disappointing, food is mediocre at best. My biggest complaint is about housekeeping, or the lack thereof. For the five days we stayed, housekeeping never removed any food or drink items, no glasses, cups, empty food containers, trays, nothing. A few towels thrown in the bathroom and the bed changed (maybe) was all we got the whole time. Additionally, we couldn't watch TV in our room after 11pm because the neighbors next door called downstairs to complain twice when our TV was at the lowest volume allowed by the TV. The snow conditions were great the first two days but the rain ruined our last day. No matter, we enjoyed the surrounding towns so the trip was still enjoyable despite Jackson Gore. Pick another place in Ludlow if you come to Okemo! read more
