It's absolutely delightful! They're a bean to bar chocolate shop, roasting their own cocoa beans and processing them to make delicious chocolate covered orange slices, truffles, chocolate bars, hot cocoa and more. I got a bag of the aforementioned orange slices, a box of truffles with beans sourced from Vietnam and the Dominican Republic in flavors like blood orange and jasmine, plus a vegan milk chocolate bar made with oat milk and coconut and almonds. My mom picked up some jasmine hot cocoa, too. The fella running the counter was a joy to chat with and the owner/chocolatier (I unfortunately can't recall her name) was also there and lovely to speak with. The shop also smelled incredible since they were working on roasting beans and making some of the chocolate while we were there. Can't wait to get back and see what else they create in the future!

We had our wedding here, and I have nothing but incredible things to say about Adam, Adriana,…read moreRachel, and the entire RHF team! We were lucky enough to have our wedding on a gorgeous day in June at the prairie barn, and we were completely spoiled with the attentiveness of the bartending, groundskeeping, and planning team. Guests absolutely loved our venue -- from the air-conditioned barn, stunning tent and table rentals, cocktail hour patio, fire pits, and luscious lawn that we got married on in front of a big oak tree! We had the property completely to ourselves from Friday-Sunday to set up, party, and clean up, which was an added bonus and stress-saver. I would recommend this venue to anybody looking to get married in a modern barn or farm venue. Since then, RHF has opened up the Nest, their kitchen & bar, which we also have loved frequently this past season!

We were seated at our table and given the cocktail menu. I ordered the rosemary greyhound. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of rosemary in it. They have a full bar and others at my table had mimosas or bourbon. The brunch menu had many choices, all looked amazing. At my table we had the short rib hash, the boursin cheese egg sandwich, the salmon egg scramble & the sausage, egg and pimento sandwich. Everything was excellent. The hash had amazing roasted potatoes, a nice amount of meat and two beautiful fried eggs on top. Actually, all the dishes came with a side of roasted potatoes that were wonderful. One of the things that I think would really elevate this restaurant is if their orange juice was fresh squeezed. However, it was quite good. We will be coming back soon to try the Italian grinder and the Nutella French toast. We are told that there is music on some nights and we did not review the dinner menu. However, if it's anything like the brunch menu, I can't wait to try it.

When Nick's sign says "Party Store," you better damn well believe that they are not fucking around…read moreabout the word "Party." Inside you will find four things: liquor, candy, maybe some paper plates and lots of empty shelves. Are you excited yet? And it's not just any liquor my friends, you get a virtual cornucopia of shitty malt liquor, ultra high alcohol content energy drinks, on-the-go-wine bottles and cases upon cases of whatever crappy normal beer you can desire. As mentioned in my immediately preceding review, my traveling group was in town because of a funeral so naturally we were all dressed nicely. The three older gents manning the store mercilessly hit on the two girls in our party in such a way where they had to have known it was going to be a punch line later on, fueling miles of laughter in the car later on. It was so, i don't know, just sort of unbelievable that it didn't seem like harassment at all. Then on top of that I had a legit conversation with the check out guy (who I can only hope is THE Nick) about the shitty stuff I threw down on the counter. This place is certifiably creepy and I loved it. Long live seedy Michigan liquor stores that will not only sell you your Joose and your Camo 40s, but also ship you off with a lot of love.
