Create Your Own salad
Kristy L.

I had created my own salad at a different Jacks and loved it, so I came here because it was close by. My salad came out quick after I ordered, but I was not served with any utensils. I was disappointed that $20 will get you tritip that is dry and lacking in flavor. The sweet potatoes were also hard and not cooked all the way. Some pieces took a lot of force to even pierce. The rest of the salad was okay. I definitely will not be back.

I absolutely love this location. There's something about the outside and inside environment that makes it magical. The ease of ordering is super nice. All the staff here are really friendly and helpful. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The food is made fresh and I love that you could see what all the employees are doing. Everyone here makes an effort and it does not go unnoticed. There's plenty of parking inside the parking lot right outside the building. This is a great place to come for lunch or dinner.

Half a Reuben and about 1/3 of the garlic fries

I can only comment on my Corned Beef Sandwich and garlic fries. My picture did not do it justice. There was so much meat I could have made 1-2 more sandwiches. So good! I'll admit it was a little soggy but we ordered through Grubhub during peak traffic hour and the poor delivery person was stuck in traffic..

This time, the service was ok. Anytime of the day, this place is booming!!! People enjoying their food & company. I ordered the fried chicken sammich. It was bursting with flavor!!! I've had it before & it was good, but this time, it was better than ever. My daughter got the chicken strips & fries. They were advertising lemon Brussel sprouts so we try 2 order them, but they had the apple cider bacon sprouts so we got those, but a little disappointed that it wasn't the lemon ones. They were delish!!! Delish!!! We both enjoy their flavored iced tea: I think it's strawberry, guava, and mango. They also have Chalula in a pump like the ketchup. I make a cup w/ mainly ketchup & add some Chalula:spicy ketchup!!! The only complaint I have it that they brought out the chicken sammich pretty fast & it took them 4ever 2 being the chicken strips & fries. I was practically done w/ my food by the time my daughter got hers!!! So boo 2 that.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Seating: 5/5 Parking: 3/5 Jack's Urban Eats is a chain-brand with a couple locations throughout California. I've been to different locations for years now and at each one it's been pretty consistent. For this location located inside Loehmann's Plaza, it's always very busy no matter what time/day it is so it can be a little difficult to find parking. That being said, it's all a very large public, free, unlimited parking lot so you'll find a spot eventually. In this location, there is a lot of outdoor or indoor seating so it's great to come with a large group even if it's impromptu. For indoor seating, they have sturdy wooden tables and most of the chairs are very comfortable cushioned booths, 5/5 for all the seating. If you're dining in, you walk up to the counter and order, then you're given a number on a stand and can choose anywhere to sit and they'll bring your food to you. I always order Urban Fries as they are deliciously salty and spicy. Sometimes I ask to put more of the Blue Cheese Dressing as I feel it could always used more. If you're feeling like splurging, adding 6 oz of the Chargrilled Tri-Tip (can be up to $11 extra) makes this a delicious meal in itself. I ordered the Steak Salad and you can substitute any ingredient out for another, they have a lot of options. The combination of the savory tri-tip, tangy vinaigrette dressing, salty blue cheese crumble, and sweet dried cranberries make this a very flavorful and filling salad. It really matters what you order/personal taste; for instance I've tried the Mac N Cheese and personally don't like it as I don't find it flavorful/cheesey enough. I've ordered these 2 dishes many times and they're my favorite as they've always been consistently delicious. The only downside is it can be on the pricer side so I don't eat here as often as I'd like. The customer service was pretty standard. You only really contact employees when ordering and receiving your meal, mostly everything is self-serve from seating yourself to grabbing your own drinks/utensils/to-go containers. Overall, a great casual place to go with family or friends and hangout awhile over a good, healthy meal.

Lemon Thyme Chicken Plate

Best part is the good food in healthy but filling portions. Next is the great location on two major streets so access is easy. Busy shopping area and parking lot, but usually not to difficult to find a spot nearby. Seating inside is plentiful with some outdoors when the weather is nice. Corner location in the building so good amount of windown

Went ahead and gave this place another try and the order that was placed online was no where to be found in their system. The positive? They went ahead and made it. I mean why wouldn't they? It was paid for. Like the fries I did not get! And I found a HAIR IN MY FOOD! I'm not getting my refund because they can't find the order in their system. Alls they could do for me was credit for a new sandwich which I do not want because I don't want more hair in my food and I DO NOT want to eat here again. Awful place. Spend your money elsewhere.

TURKEY PLATE: Light/Dark turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing/dressing and cranberry relish.
Cynthia G.

I ordered the Turkey Plate at 11:10a.m. on Friday, Nov 14, 2025. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and cranberry. The turkey was dry and tough. The mashed potatoes were cold. The cranberry was not homemade. I liked the stuffing, but would add toasted walnuts and sautéed mushrooms to it. Gravy was good. Portions were generous. Nice staff. Cost: $18.95 for turkey plate.

Always come back for their Oven Roasted Turkey Plate with sides and at the last minute we ordered online for pick up day before Thanksgiving. Great portion size and a side of Urban fries delicious! Great Staff!

"Fresh avocado"

You should be embarrassed for serving this avocado to a customer. Also wash your radishes better.

My favorite place to eat. Wide menu choices and great food. Create your own salad is a great option as are the premade salads.

We had dinner at Wildwood Restaurant and I want to start by saying the food was absolutely amazing…read more Everything we ordered was delicious, well prepared, and clearly made with high quality ingredients. You can tell the kitchen really knows what they're doing. The only issue we experienced was with our server's understanding of the menu. When she explained the specials, the description wasn't even close to what was actually served. For example, she described one dish as a half chicken with tomatoes, cucumbers, and balsamic, but when it arrived it didn't include any of those things. We also asked several questions about the menu and ingredients, and she seemed pretty confused and wasn't able to give clear answers. I normally don't like leaving anything negative in a review because the food truly was fantastic. My only suggestion would be for the staff to become a little more familiar with the menu and the specials so they can confidently explain dishes to guests. Overall, incredible food, but a little more menu training for the staff would make the experience even better. I would definitely come back for the food.

While I'd be a liar if I said I'm still bummed that our favorite restaurant Bandera no longer has a Sacramento location and presence, Bennett's has done a terrific job with their beautiful and fantastic location. The staff is always engaging, friendly, hard working, kind, and knowledgeable. I ate solo during my last visit and opted for their USDA Prime New York steak, bacon mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. They brought out several gorgeous steaks for me to choose from. I was hungry so I opted for a big boy and it didn't disappoint. It had beautiful marbling, was tender for a New York (they're typically a bit firmer) and was cooked absolutely perfectly. I ordered medium rare and it was spot on. It was served sliced and was delightful. It's served on a wooden cutting board like plank that has grooves to catch the juices from the steak. That is ingenious and a lovely touch. The bacon mac and cheese was arguably the best I've ever had. A touch of panko breadcrumbs would've made it absolutely perfect. The mashed potatoes were buttery and creamy like I like, and had a touch of scallions which I love. This was the most enjoyable dining experience and meal. Not only does Bennett's serve fabulous meals in a lovely setting, their desserts never disappoint. I skipped one this evening but my favorite is their carrot cake. Another wonderful reason to dine here is they're wonderful stewards of the community and regularly make generous donations to local non profit organizations. I love doing business with folks that are generous and kind enough to give back when they can. Obviously it's impossible to give back to any and everyone, but a little generosity and human kindness goes a long ways in my book. Thank you again for another wonderful experience and I look forward to stopping in again soon.
