Our septic tank backed up Saturday night on Labor Day weekend. We called our regular service and they were not available for the holiday weekend, we contacted several different services and were offered appointments on Monday or Tuesday. We saw Jack's website and thought we'd give it a try. We got an appointment for that afternoon. Jack showed up and had our system cleaned out, including jet spraying our lines in about an hour. Our years long septic saga finally has a happy ending! We called multiple places over the last two years knowing time was running out (the tank hadn't been serviced in at least 20 years) and our septic mystery needed to be addressed, and the tank and access located. People would show up with some vague answer, tell us they'd simply bring in an excavator and dig up the yard, or not return our calls at all. I called Jack's Septic Service on Monday, and on Thursday they were at our house trying to help us find the tank, and figure out what was going on. They were here for over two hours, with cameras and sensors, and when I thought all hope was lost, they found the buried access cover (the huge gear), and serviced our septic tank. I was speechless. Called about our leach field flooding and got an immediate response. Time was sent out to assess and remedy our situation. He was amazing! He pumped our tank quickly and helped us figure where and what the problem was. We now know our tank and lines were not installed properly and have the tools and knowledge to fix the problems. Will 100% be calling them for any future issues and when we build on new property as is our goal we will have them be doing all the specific work! Just bought a house in Syracuse and within a week had gushing sewage pipe leaks in the basement. Called Jack's leaving a message of the problem. He (Jack) returned my call in 15 minutes and promised a truck that evening. It was already 4 pm but Jack himself showed up at 7pm and cleaned out all the pipes with a cool water jet tool. I initially had a great experience. I had a backup of my sewer line on a Saturday morning & found this plumber through a Yelp search. Jack came over to check out the situation around 11, then called in his guys, who came around 2 pm. They plunged the line then used a hydrojet to clear it. Cost around $400. That was at the end of June. Everything was great until last week when I noticed it starting to backup again. I called & talked to Jack again, explained the issue & history, etc. He said they couldn't guarantee the job more than 30 days normally, but he'd pull the invoice & talk to his guys, then get back to me. That was Monday afternoon. (It's been 2 months since the last issue. I've owned the house 15 years & never had a problem like that before.) I didn't get a call back so I left a voicemail on Tuesday afternoon. It's now Friday & I still haven't heard back from him. I called someone else, he cleared it with a snake, educated me on how to avoid the issue moving forward, and only charged me half of the last cost. Plus... He wasn't smoking a cigar in my house & didn't leave behind a Pepsi bottle of tobacco spit in my yard. So that was cool too. So, 2 stars. He did the job I paid for, timely. Poor follow up. read more

They guys saved us today. We bought our house 2 years ago and apparently the septic hasn't been pumped in 8 or 9 years. So today (January 26th) was the day it backed up. We called them around 6pm on a Saturday and these guys were here at 8pm ready to work. We had no knowledge of were the septic was. These guys worked hours in the freezing weather finding this tank. They worked until almost 2am and they fixed the problem. They were friendly and took the time to explain our system to us. I can't thank these guys enough for what they did. I wouldn't use anyone else now that I've met them. read more
