The only suggestion is that they offer regular sub-hoagie bread. The only options are Ciabatta rolls, sliced sourdough or sliced Rye. Lots of drink options and tasty chip choices. Loved the "All Mixed Up" chips. If you're driving through Del Norte, this is a must stop for a great sandwich and healthy options foods.

We had a tire blow while we were on our way home and were scrambling to find somewhere that could help us. They were the ONLY tire place we could find open on Labor Day, and every single person there worked their butt off to get us taken care of and back on the road. They were kind, helpful, hardworking, and genuinely seemed to care that we were stranded away from home. They even let us bring our giant dog into the waiting area while they worked on our vehicle, which meant more to us than they probably realized. This entire team deserves recognition -- and honestly, they deserve a raise. They turned what could have been an awful ending to our trip into such a positive experience. I hope management makes sure they hear how much their work mattered to us. Words really cannot express how grateful we are. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the entire tire team for working on a holiday and getting us safely back on our way home. You guys were amazing!

There could be another sign or two advertising the place, however, Google Maps will lead you strait to it. A very nice Amish woman laughed at my cowboy's jokes and asked me if I was related to another local. To my knowledge, I am not! Lol. The parking lot was gravel with unmarked spaces. A sleepy dog with wavy yellowish-brown hair greeted us gently, but immeditely went back to snoozing. Inside the semi-dusty country store was a surprising amount of everything one could possibly need in a pinch: + dried beans and pastas + nuts and all the baking goods + pie filling + canned goods + household supplies + personal hygiene items + cold drinks and snacks + cat/dog commodities I picked up a jar of locally-made blackberry jam, apple cider vinegar, and drinks for the kids all for under $13. Keep in mind that items like dented canned goods and some smashed packaged items are sold with deep discounts. They do not sell much meat aside from the canned variety. I paid cash for our items, but they do accept plastic. I will definitely be here in the future. TIP The store is open daily except on Sunday 9AM-5PM. Also, their bakery is open only a few days of the week which we sadly missed out on.

Shandy Hayden personally caused me a lot of trouble, expense, and wasted time. Shandy Hayden screwed over a charity. Shandy Hayden cost this Walmart thousands of dollars of lost business. Correction: tens of thousands, if you include future business. My wife is the food coordinator for a major area charity. She doesn't get paid a penny to do it. She called this Walmart months ahead of a major volunteer event to see if she could order hundreds of prepackaged sandwiches, and how much lead time they needed. She placed the order with the requested lead time, padded by several extra days just to be safe. But shortly before the sandwiches were needed, the order was cancelled without explanation. My wife called and emailed multiple times to find out why, and to try to see if something could be worked out. She got no response of any kind, ever. There is no imaginable excuse good enough to justify what happened. Shandy Hayden yanked the rug out from under us, and if she doesn't deserve to be fired, I don't know who would.

I've been here before, and the customer service has been good each go-round. The store is fairly organized and clean. I noticed some great deals on their Kroger branded items. They eased the inflation-induced budget a little. Not much, but a little. At night I noticed the lighting in the parking lot was okay. Could be brighter, but overall it seems to be a safe area. I like grocery shopping here far more than other places in Alamosa. Bring your own bags or gripe about being charged for plastic. Your choice.

The speed limit changes significantly due to so many pedestrians (jaywalkers actually) so be very careful as many of them seem to be tourists & travelers. I will never find everything I possibly want here, but I spent enough time here to know that their prices are very competitive with my own usual favorite grocery stores. When I first visited on 6/14/2023, I was greeted as soon as I hurried in to find some last minute items for my pain in the ass cowboy. The laudible efforts by one particular employee who helped me find a particular bottle of liquor. The layout of the store is fairly simple. You can tell where most everything is when you stand at the front as it is fairly small. They even sell fishing supplies... *hint hint*
