Passed by one evening and through the window the bowls looked rich and delish; all the customers were Chinese - - totally alluring but the football game was about to start.
The next day when I went by it was closed, so went to a different 'noodle bar' with high ratings on Yelp, and it was horrendous.
Almost gave up on Chinese noodle bars as a concept, but went back here - - maybe it was a form of therapy after going to the other place, but maybe it just had such a powerful draw.
The menu is very straightforward - - a longish list of dishes on one sheet of plain white paper. But inside on the wall they have pictures of the various dishes, each one of which you WANT.
I got a fried bean paste noodle bowl, with the veggies looking so nice in the picture. The reality was even better - - served so kindly and graciously, she offered to stir it all up for me, but preferred to mix it myself to accentuate this or that. Delightful. Sat looking past the orchids to the street. Lovely place, would love to try lots of other dishes. read more
