Today I asked about an online price I'd seen from one of the big retailers on something I am considering purchasing down the road. He said he couldn't match it, but explained to me why. He wasn't rude or mad because of the question I asked. That really says a lot. My heart always says to buy local, but sometimes my budget overrides that decision. When it comes time to make that purchase down the road I'll talk to him again. If I can figure out how to meet in the middle between the gun, an optic, magazines, and ammunition I'd rather buy it from JT's. The shop itself is small. If they're busy it can get crowded and it's sometimes hard to avoid being muzzle swept by other customers. The staff is great about safety-checking everything so as long as the gun has comes across the counter from them I haven't been too concerned. Happened to me today with a customer looking at 1911s. They have plenty of inventory...new and used. A lot of guns you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the metro. Great prices. They're a family owned shop and they are all very knowledgeable. I've used this gun shop for many years for my online purchases and never had any problems…read more Sometimes I would call to ask if I could pick up my firearm, and I was always treated with respect until two days ago. I received a notification that my order had arrived, so I called to ask if my firearm was ready. A very stubborn person answered and told me they would call me when my gun was ready for pickup. Ten minutes later, the same person called to say I could come and get my firearm. When I arrived, he told me that if I was going to keep calling to ask about my order, I should go somewhere else because I have to wait for them to call me, not the other way around. I've been using their FFL since 2021 and bought ammunition many times, but after this incident, I will not be going back to that store.

They are now closed. I sent an email through their website "contact us" link and they're saying it takes 24 to 48 hours to respond to an email. I told him just to cancel the order if they haven't dropped it off yet and refund my money, I will go buy it somewhere else. Came out during Father's Day weekend and found it to be quite busy. Reservations are needed to book a time and lane. Upon entering facility the shop is full of merchandise. Back of the shop are walls of guns and counter for consultation. Professional customer service, especially for first time customers. Safety video, waiver, and ID check are needed. Takes 10 min. The guys who manage are efficient. Cost for 1 lane, 2 people, 2 sets of protective gear, and 4 targets was around $42.xx It's BYOGA (bring your own gun + ammo) or rentals are available. Shooting range is behind checkout counter where it is very secure with ingress and egress of patrons. I noticed two ranges. Shooting range we entered is a good size. Surveillance monitors shooters to make sure rules are obeyed. There is room to maneuver in own lane but can be tight when all lanes are filled. Overall it was a great place to get an opportunity to shoot a gun. It was fun to come out with a couple of friends. We were able to get a lane close to each other.
