Immediately after parking (in a handicap spot) we were greeted by an employee asking us if we needed a motorized scooter because they offer it here to help make shopping easier. The biggest reason for coming here was to help socialize my dog (and to do some dog treats shopping). They are pet friendly here (I called ahead of time just to confirm) so I was able to walk freely with my puppy. All the employees are so friendly and my pup loved being petted by them. The dog treats we bought were of a popular brand name and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Surprisingly no customers were around. 3 employees standing behind the cash register counter. Looked like 1 was having lunch out in the open. (My immediate thought was...shouldn't you be in a back room/break area to do that??) One employee said hey. I guessed the area I needed to look but couldn't find anything. I asked for help after 5 min. But they didn't have what I was looking for. Stuck around to browse. No one else asked to help me or to help me find an alternative. Was expecting someone would be outgoing to help but they weren't. Maybe me lugging my 3 little kids with me seemed like a hassle to help. Today I asked about an online price I'd seen from one of the big retailers on something I am considering purchasing down the road. He said he couldn't match it, but explained to me why. He wasn't rude or mad because of the question I asked. That really says a lot. My heart always says to buy local, but sometimes my budget overrides that decision. When it comes time to make that purchase down the road I'll talk to him again. If I can figure out how to meet in the middle between the gun, an optic, magazines, and ammunition I'd rather buy it from JT's. The shop itself is small. If they're busy it can get crowded and it's sometimes hard to avoid being muzzle swept by other customers. The staff is great about safety-checking everything so as long as the gun has comes across the counter from them I haven't been too concerned. Happened to me today with a customer looking at 1911s. They have plenty of inventory...new and used. A lot of guns you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the metro. Great prices. They're a family owned shop and they are all very knowledgeable.
